Yes, and it's worth considering what could motivate these people. Using Valance as an example, very rich and a long standing influencer of an industry and who sits on a number of advisory bodies, he decides to move to an executive position in government? |

My point was not about vaccines but your later point combined with the fact that this guy ( and his network) has very significant vested interests and now has a top role in government decision making. |

The current status of South Africa is that there is now more inequality than in the apartheid era. |

I see Sir Patrick Valence, ex GSK multi-millionaire has been installed by the new Government in a head of science position, expect more absurd decisions. PS Vallance unlike Whitty chose to slag off the old Government at the Covid enquiry and now finds himself a very influential position at the heart of the new Government, good news for him and his mates. |

The most significant war since WW2 has been raging in the Congo for years with over 6 million deaths according to the International Rescue Committee. The fact that this war is ignored by our media underlines your point completely. |

Matrix Chambers FFS. As somebody said it's the same Circus but we should expect different clowns. |

I agree, the story that gets pushed back is that it's too difficult to administer ' punishment ' away from prison. I am sure if you said to someone you must help on a community project one day a week for a year or go to prison for six months they may well decide to turn up to do the community work? |

I think Starmer probably knows he needs to be very careful. 64 percent of people did not vote for him, the turnout and anecdotal evidence indicates that people are fed up with politicians, if he or his front bench fcuk up the general discontent will be focused on him. He will know that this is a consequence of his negative ' they are crap' rather than we are good campaign |

I guess that's the plan, allow him to foul up and then you can deal with him for good, leave him out now and he will be a problem chipping away at you. |

Labour get a huge majority with 34 percent of the vote, something seems out of sync? |

Zero, just take a look at India's growth in emissions. Wales produces about 30 Million Tonnes of CO2 each year. Last year India increased its emissions by 230 Million Tonnes. [Post edited 27 Jun 21:54]

No rainbow laces, gesture politics or human rights for him to claim the moral high ground. His talisman for inequality has taken to crashing Rolls Royces, hiring Lear jets to go on the piss and carrying £10,000 in cash. His right back seems to be trying to solve the UK birth rate issue singlehandedly and even the normal sources of diversion such are squabbling WAGS and hooligan supporters are quiet. Lineker has decided there is more mileage in being critical. Unless Harry Cane starts to transition or Declan Rice changes his pronouns Southgate will be forced to talk about football. But hold on.........the fans are not happy and that's upsetting some of the very sensitive underperforming multi millionaires. [Post edited 26 Jun 7:33]

A bit of basic research will show that the banking crisis and covid has led most developed economies to a similar position to the UK. |

Starmer has been fighting a negative ' they are crap campaign ' for years, his manifesto is opaque. I fear we may be in a similar position to the last election in voting in the option that seems least bad. |
