| Forum Thread | We never know the day or the hour at 09:23 20 Aug 2024
Growing up in catholic Ireland there was always some turn of phrase with biblical roots rolled out at the appropriate moment and this one was a particular favourite of my grandad. He usually used it on the untimely or unexpected passing of someone who was outwardly otherwise in good health. I couldn't help thinking about that this morning reading about this yacht sinking https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/ce38n4egqwzt This bloke spent the last dozen years waiting to be chucked in jail (I'm sure life wasn't hard for him) but in the clear and celebrating - boom. What's worse, his co defendant got hit by a car and killed on the weekend. You never know the day or the hour ... |

| Forum Thread | Early Kick offs – Travel and Logistics at 12:37 9 Aug 2024
So, it looks like 1230 is likely to become the new 3pm. How’s everyone’s routine changing to accommodate? Pre match lunch becomes breakfast. Anyone know any early opening times for the local watering holes? And to cap it all, tomorrow my train line has engineering works needing an earlier early start. |

| Forum Thread | What’s (still) Wrong with Willock? at 09:52 26 Oct 2023
The ongoing Willock saga seems to have gone under the radar in the past few weeks as the team continues to tank, and the pressure increases on the manager. It seems increasingly odd that he’s not being utilised beyond 10 mins from the bench. Ongoing injury issues? Ongoing fall out issues? Ongoing can’t be ars3d issues? Will the old Willock be resurrected with a change of manager? |
