Society can be sick at times.

Thankfully there are more caring people than those low lifes.

No shame at all its what being human is all about. It has brought a lump to my throat..
It has to be the individuals choice, but that choice should not be governed by the feelings of others.
I wish I had the answer that no-one is coerced, but that's not a reason why the first stage of a process can't be started.

It is a subject that needs a full discussion without arguments and lines drawn in the sand. I accept that religion will be a deciding factor for some, but everything should be discussed with an open mind.

I have had family members suffer and also others with dementia. I don't wish me to have to put my family through that in the time before my death.

Dignity in death.

As you say it's all about safeguards etc, and I recognize it's a very emotive subject and sorry to read your post.

In saying that I fully agree with you. When I've had this type of conversation over many rears my thoughts are that there should be some sort of system in place, that your views in your 20's 30's 40's etc can be documented.
I know not perfect but it would give an indication of your intentions if the time came.
Views can change but to put it very bluntly no Government own me and my body..

Dundee were the team in 1963.

Strange you mentioned Blue Nose as 2 of my mates are Blue Nose (Birmingham)

I suppose we should let the thread get back on topic.

Won't be the last one to wander off.

Lived in West Ferry.

Rubbing shoulders?

No, spent all my time kicking a football in Dawson Park.

Only there for a year but good times.

Edit

And watched Dundee not United

Sometimes you just have to celebrate

Not sure why the link doesn't work but on youtube select Coventry v Swansea Dec 2023 and there is a short clip of our last minute goal

Hope this has worked

Another potential workaround when it comes to adding a Shorts link to your video block is to replace the shorts/ part with watch?v= . For example https://youtube.com/shorts/J-mrNqVPEWM would instead be inserted as https://youtube.com/watch?v=J-mrNqVPEWM . This effectively forces the video into the normal YouTube video display on their site, rather than their newer made Shorts display, and works with the embed.ly functionality of the video block better

WBA v Swansea City : Match day thread
at 16:09 2 Sep 2024

Maybe but only because of the number of fans

How long did it take the Glaziers to sell Man Utd.

Mike Ashley at Newcastle

Even the Fenway Group has had it's issues at Liverpool in previous years with fans groups calling for them to sell up,

At Swansea we've had Silver Shield (Ninth Floor) Lewis , Petty ,who didn't get an easy ride from the fans.

A few minutes after the game had finished. The right exit as you look at the pitch.

Just seen these posts.
So just to confirm he was in the away end, at least I saw him walking down from the stand and he had a few words with the chief steward/safety officer and then left.

Difficult to say as he'd had little time to get used to his team mates.

Some observations though.

He doesn't seem to have pace to burn.
Was struggling to get passed their FB/WB to get in any sort of cross.
We overplayed him, not really giving him time to settle into the game.

More good news for the City of Swansea
at 18:58 20 Aug 2024

If this does become reality, what's the chance of it from Mumbles to the Swansea Bay Campus for starters?

Allowing for inflation, and of course whether it is a correct current figure?

"The track aims to show the new rail system can be built at a cost of around £10 million per km, at speed, and allowing most utilities to stay in place"
