It drives me mad when supporters are unrealistic and think we can turn over every side we play. You saw what happened to us in the group stage. Napoli were joint top on points with Dortmund and Arsenal. This can be seen as a positive as it shows a little bit of inconsistency, none of the 3 teams done doubles against each other, however did have 1 win against each other. They did all beat the 4th placed team twice, this shows Napoli could be ruthless.
On the laws of average we could win one leg and lose the other.
In reality we could play a really slow passing, possesion game causing the opponents to get all their men in defence then we lose by a small margin after we make one mistake.
But i would hope that we hammer them. | |
