Cardiff starting to falter 17:15 - Nov 30 with 30480 views | deanscfc | Think their 'new to the PL' buzz is wearing off and they're heading towards their true position in the league. As for us, let's hope injuries don't affect things too much. A point would be more than we can expect and maybe wins against Newcastle and Hull.

Hmm, if true can see Tan's point - Mackay was supported over summer. So he got brayford for 1.5m who is a decent player yet never featured. 3 weeks later we bought another right back for 2m. Add in Malky not using Cornelius - WBA, bring on Maynard rather than Cornelius when Noone was putting good crosses in?

We'll just take anyone who's any good off you mate. They won't want to play in the championship when they could join us in the PL. edit: And you spent £50m including add ons in the summer??? Holy s**t. Now that's funny. [Post edited 16 Dec 2013 19:49]

Possibly. And possibly Mackay wants to force a sacking by going to the press talking about wanting players in. Who knows?

I can see why it hasn't been mentioned on here quite a battering that. Well MacKay and Moody say we were under budget, now Lim and Tan are saying we are over? There again i would think Simon Lim would keep the party line with Tan, although what he was doing (being he is chairman) in the summer when we were spending this money only he knows.

Lim isn't and never has been chairman.... Mackay would say that - not involved in what the actual figures are - and Moody would obviously say that. I suspect the overspend happened, Tan not happy but put up with it rather than lose face by cancelling transfers. Either way, the money was spent. A fair bit of money was spent, if Mackay is stating he wants more then it's fair enough for Tan to be a tad pissed off about that. If Mackay wants to prove himself a top manager, then manage the squad of players he got that he wanted. And explain again how Maynard instead of Cornelius makes any sense...

We have seen this season the pressure managers are under and ones that have managed at this level before too. We don't see what goes on on the training ground, Brayford was obviously a mistake and Cornelius he doesn't really trust when defending a lead, that's my opinion but maybe not yours but that's it its all about opinions. I always thought there would be money available in January, if there ain't so be it, he will have to make do with the squad he has. By the way, what is Simon Lim's title then, out of interest. Tan's tea boy?

Lim is CEO. Brayford may have been a mistake, making that assessment 3 weeks after signing him doesn't speak volumes for the work done by Mackay or Moody - if Tan is putting the money up front, especially when then spending 2.5m on a replacement - happy to accept K T-C is quality. West Brom pressured the last 10-15 minutes, getting the ball in the box. A few set pieces, I'd have more confidence in a 6ft 4 guy who is good in the area defending in that circumstance. Equally, when Mackay tells the press 7m doesn't buy you a proven Prem striker, I was pretty annoyed by that. The only way Cornelius will prove if he's good enough is to play. Noone was ignored for ten games, comes in, we look better going forward. So we've now width and nobody in the box to capitalise - yes Whitts scored a good header, coming in from the wing like that can be difficult to defend. Campbell works hard, sure, not a natural scorer. Odemwingie has flattered to deceive so far. Maynard isn't the answer. For me, I'd have liked to see Cornelius get game time out there. We've a player who is intelligent enough to play the no 10 role off a target man, who scores goals. And he's been loaned out to Bolton. I find it amusing people ITK on a certain board are keen to slate Tan for comments made yet amazingly enough don't challenge Mackay's comments to the media. [Post edited 16 Dec 2013 20:43]

I heard a rumour that Wanyama wasn't signed due to the year he was born (year of the goat or some other animal). It was through a colleague who works with someone who used to work at one club but is now part of the set up at yours. May well be bullsh*t but seeing some of the crazy stuff Tan is into you never know

First I heard of that rumour was it was posted on a certain mb. Funnily enough I ignored that one... As I understand it, we'd agreed a fee and then Celtic reneged, agreeing a higher fee with Saints.

Him or one of the minions. They are still playing the "Velikonja hasn't featured as Tan bought him on the recommendation of Mourinho" line as fAcT. Ok, so Mackay had stated he'd been tracking the player whilst he was managing Watford, by why let real facts get in the way of forum hits and book sales?

Why does mucky need more players? Rumour has it that the scum have the best squad outside the top four and only Michu could get in their team from our squad. They deserve all that is coming to them. They could keep the comedy channel going 24 hrs a day.
