Don't get me wrong, I love Ali. He is the greatest. Tyson wasn't just a bully, that's the thing. He had technique and power. He lost his way, so that's why he's not the greatest but for that period where he was at his best, I'd put him in against anyone.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.
Sorry, never got all the fuss about Marciano. His record is greatly overrated. Beat a 38 year old Jersey Joe Walcott to win the title who had actually dropped Marciano in the first round and was miles ahead on points before being caught with a sucker punch in the 13th.
Ezzard Charles who was really a blown up light heavyweight, ditto Don Cockell. His last defence was against Archie Moore (another blown up light heavy) who was probably anything between 40 and 50 when he fought him. Again Marciano was dropped early in the fight.
Prior to becoming champion he'd taken 8 rounds to beat an over the hill Joe Louis only fighting to pay the taxman.
Got out when he saw the likes of Liston and other naturally bigger heavyweights on the horizon.

That may be true...it may not. He certainly fought alot of average, at best, fighters early on, but a 49 -0 record with his ratio of knockouts is still impressive. But we'll never know will we?
