1, The Mullof Kintyre thing at the start of each half is impressive, but the support dies a bid at times during the game.

2, Why do they market it as "The World Famous City Ground" it's not even in the City and not even in Nottingham to be pedantic, I have never seen it as World Famous.

3. Why were the Forest fans so nasty, most of their songs seemed to be aimed at us either going down with Leicester or saying hello to Derby for them.

4. Car parks seemed to be in short supply, but you could park near the ground and loads of cars seemed to be parked on the pavement and double yellow lines without getting a ticket.
5. As I said it isn't even in Nottingham it is in the town of West Bridgford which is a seperate unitary authority than Nottingham

It's a great ground and imo their home support is definitely up there with the best, however like all midlands clubs, they seem to revel in taunting the opposing fans. Having said that, I don't mind them to be honest and they're nowhere near as vile as Wolves, Leicester, Stoke etc.

There home support was good, but you would expect it to be, after 30 years of being outside the top flight they are going through their best couple of years since then.

It seems to be a midlands thing to be vile, maybe they have a complex as they are neither North or South

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

"...which is a seperate unitary authority than Nottingham..."

Thanks for the local government clarification, Nick!

Can you start a 'which clubs are not where they say they are' thread. Isn't Man U in Salford?

Why is so cold there? When I went there it was like the North Pole without snow.

And they get thoroughly pi55ed off if you say "Notts Forest" and not Nottingham Forest - so is that why Notts County are not Nottingham County? I mean, the grounds are only a stones throw apart

1) have to agree I like the song but prefer Charlton’s version. Not sure who sung it 1st. Thought the support from them was a typical 2pm Sunday game and quite quiet. There main singing section seams to be in the main stand .

2) I winder how long it will be before our friends from Portsmouth will start saying “ world famous Fratton Park” after all they like myths .

3)I didn’t think they were that nasty , certainly no where near other clubs who’s fans are much worse. I’m sure a lot of saints fans would be singing “ going down with the pompey” if things were different.

4) the ground is near the station and a lot of cheap car parks near there, notts County’s ground and that part of the city.

5) plenty of pubs to chose from within a 15/20 min walk - and I don’t include hooters in that.
