It's a no from me. Get into the Premier League and qualify for Europe properly, we have done it before and we can do it again. Playing in the Welsh Cup is no guarantee of playing in Europe you still have to win it. Even then it is the European Conference with the third rate clubs. It makes no sense at all to me.

It was a good competition as well with teams like Chester, Shrewsbury, Hereford, Kidderminster and Oswestry entering as well.
Micheal Laudrup got The Swans into Europe football adventures without the need for a cheap alternative to qualify for Tournaments , what a loss he was for our Team .
Now and maybe the EFL could say go back to your LOW status , not wanted anymore in our pyramid workings on competive Divisions and Status .

I don’t get it, in one voice Coleman states he wants to restore Premier League football to the club, which comes with its own rewards. The next he wants the opportunity to play European football through a Welsh cup competition without any investigation into the issues it could produce.

Just say we were to win promotion. I believe you have to be invited to join the Premier League, would the FA really want a club in their league who would prefer a league of Wales Cup to their top cup competition.

EFL do not care. The FAW were instructed to form a League of Wales and pressurized them. They stated no LoW no Europe. This was 20 years ago under the late Akun Evans. The exiles cause merry hell and resented being forced to join.
At this time Swansea and other pro teams left he Welsh cup and became eligible for Europe via thd England system.
Given that Eufa drove the formation o the LoW it is unlikely to undermine it's growth. UK football already has too many anomalies.
