Good on him, their run in towards the end of the season was shocking.

Lost their last eight.

Nicely spun. HJ is one of the best manager " pickers " in the game.

Even the biggest of big guns watch out for his managerial picks.

Who chose Bob Bradley in October 2016? Was that Huw?

I would say he was forced upon him to an extent by the American co owners. Overall he can’t be right every time. But Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez are an example of some very good decision making. If the subject is looked at positively.

I agree mate, I remember a friend saying when we were in Europe, I can’t wait to get out of the group it’s a bit boring.

Monk took the club to to a top ten PL finish with home and away wins v Man Utd and Arsenal. Not too shabby if you ask me. He was a short term fix similar to Steve Cooper. He was let down by Ledbetter who delivered Fat Franck and Eder to replace big guns.

Luadrup would have taken us to the Europa league final and possibly won it.
The decision to force Monk onto Luadrup as a coach was a huge error ....we were lucky Luadrup didn't take us for constructive dismissal he would certainly have had a case. Issue was the board and certain players were worried of pur PL status whilst ML was focused on Europe.....imagine had we won it...

Laudrup has a record of short term stays and Swansea was no different. Then there were issues with the agent. Since leaving Swansea no European team has called on him which base solely on his record is a surprise.

It is quite normal for the club to appoint assistants as they wish. Williams had adopted Sheehan for example.

The owners are fine. The club spent money badly and got relegated. Stuff happens. HJ said the new owners brought no debt and had derp pockets.

They have supported their managers in the main giving Potter £7m which he wasted and Cooper had two current England international in his first year and Gyorkeres and Gibbs White in his second. Martin was given Piroe Darling Downes and Fisher.

They have put their own people in charge in Wales who will be held accountable to the fans and ready to take on the challenge.

Burnley's US owners have dumped $40m debt onto the club on a leveraged buy out They borrowed it to buy the club and the club itself has to pay it back with interest.

Or look at the whole list and just it with a balanced view. Absolutely every chairman, no matter hwo good they have been, will make some bad choices.

HJ got the vast majority of managerial appointments here bang on. I think Guidolin would have been ok if he'd had more chance. Bradley was poor but as Keith says, owners forced it. Martinez was a master stroke at the time.
