Someone else’s fault I’m sure

Interesting Beale & Banfield were at the Stoke game at ours, surely not as guests of our Board,

Surely not Stoke's next Manager after the financial hole he left at Glasgow Rangers!

There have been some surprising dismissals lately (Sunderland). This one isn't.

A real shame - for everyone else around them.

Another one that suits Eustace, especially as an ex-player. Could take the job and get Rooney the sack over Christmas when Stoke play Birmingham

Is that legit?

That's pretty shameless if so, and totally in keeping with all his previous behaviour.

Think it’s probably ok for people to attend a football match.

Bare bones.

He does seem to really like the ones where a bloke is about to lose his job though.

Bad timing as Sunderland haven't got a Manager to poach at the moment. When they land up with Tony Mowbray it shows how good our lot did with MC.

Be pretty surprised if we get through this little panic with the Plymouth manager still at Plymouth.

Yes, 100 percent legit, pal first clocked him outside Sainsbury's Local on Bloemfontein Road with a beanie hat on so not many would have clocked him,

Then saw him + Banfield enter corporate entrance, beggars belief but is 100 percent, lad has some brass neck.

Had a poke around the Stoke forum after we beat them to glory in their moaning, and didn’t realise that Neil was given an open cheque book over the summer and bought 19 (NINETEEN) players.

Given that and then losing to us at our lowest ebb plus Sheff Wed at home at theirs, not surprised he’s gone.

Since Stoke went down they’ve looked lost. The Pullis era looks like a real one man show in retrospect

The real cheek is showing up at Rangers at all.

Neck like a jockey's bollocks, that lad.

At least this time we were one of the teams driving a nail in the coffin, rather than rocking up for their new manager bounce.

Fevered speculation about Plymouth manager between now & Wednesday please.

Northern,
It's 100 percent legit,
Paulhoop saw Banfield,
My mate clocked Banfield first and then saw Beale with him with his beanie hat,
Said Beale was trying to keep a low profile but my mate is 100 percent and he's spot on with this stuff, always.

I'm a regular viewer of "The Oatcake" a forum which takes a bit of beating.

I was on it earlier following the expected departure of AN after the Wednesday game was confirmed. The whole game appeared to have been a farce with Barry Bannon, who must be at least 50, running rings around their centre backs. ( I've always liked Bannon, a "proper" player" although seriously outpacing a decent centre back defies logic )

Apparently Neil was 3, 4, then 5 at one stage at the back and it became laughable, even after the match he was seeking to justify holding onto a point with 15 to go...he got his just desserts.

As for their new manager, they have all the preferences we'd have, ex players, successful current managers in the EFL and the Continental fizz they think is required. Stoke are an oddball club, some of the wealthiest owners you can find, the windiest ground anywhere and that magic touch to appoint a manager and approve purchases that no other club would see fit. Long may it continue.

Sometimes you do wonder, even our own club, having drawn up a shortlist, can appoint Ainsworth 1 minute then Cifuentes the next : Explain the logic.

Regardless of our luck the Stoke job will probably come up again in 2 years or less, they always do when the whole merry go round will start again. However, having coughed up for what was it? 19 new players, there surely can't be much if anything left in the kitty this window, they could be holed below the waterline, even with a new manager bounce. In short, it's going to have to be some BOUNCE

Mate said if he hadn't clocked Banfield he wouldn't have clocked Beale as had his beanie pulled down and was keeping a low profile,

Mate is a life-long season ticket holder + best lad I know at Sports Quiz's, and he was adamant Beale was with Banfield, and I put that out there before paulhoop confirmed he'd seen Banfield too.
