Davies turns down the Swans on 16:28 - Jun 15 with 3182 views | ReslovenSwan1 | When a long term no 2 has doubts it is best to leave it. He must he totally confident and have no doubts. Swansea vity is ready to take off in the right hands with 3 -4 inspired signings in my opinion. The manager coming in needs an "inside track" on the best free transfer or loan players. Cooper had it on loans and Martin came up with Downes.

Davies turns down the Swans on 16:29 - Jun 15 with 3183 views | Dr_Winston | Meh. Mostly seemed to generate enthusiasm via association with Rodgers than for his own merits. Personally I'd prefer someone with at least a bit of a track record behind them.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Why, what track record did Rodgers or Martinez have? You never know until you give it a go. Anyway, he says no so we move on. This ongoing nonsense may last a while yet, or martin may be announced their new manager tonight and we see movement more quickly, I live in hope. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Money always wins. Spurs could have offered him a job as a ballboy or selling hot dogs Championship clubs cannot compete with the PL money simple as that.

yeah, I made that argument elsewhere too but somebody seemed to think being No 1 here would be a greater draw. Money talks.

Indeed, I don’t blame him for 1 minute going for the bigger money on offer in the PL. In terms of being a No 1 at Swansea, we think it’s a great job but we’re fans, looking at things in the cold hard light of day it may not be that good an option. If maybe there was £20m to spend to build a team it could be different, but having to wheel and deal may not have appealed to him. Onwards and upwards.
Davies turns down the Swans on 20:27 - Jun 15 with 2192 views | QJumpingJack | There are 5 people running the club - Levien, Kaplan, Morris, Silverstein and Coleman. For them all to agree on a target & for a potential candidate wanting to answer to five people will take time. Maybe a very long time.

Why? Because a prospective candidate chose to take a job in the Premier League with more money?

Supposedly, he wanted to take his first step into management. I honestly think if this debacle of Martin going, had been resolved earlier, before the option of Ange Postecoglou and Rogers came into the equation, he would seriously thought about coming here as manager.
