No objections to Ash Eastham, who's a good player. However, we have five (six if you count SAJ!) players either contracted or offered contracts for next season who can play that position.
For me, it depends on whether EEL can get a move elsewhere. Mullarkey, Taylor, Graham and John could all potentially fill in at full back or possibly holding midfielder is they stay; Eastham and EEL are pure centre backs, and we don't really need two veterans in that position (assuming any of the other four stay). |  | | |

I think Eastham will have better offers elsewhere. As others have pointed out, right now we have a disproportionate chunk of our budget spent on below average defenders.
