QPR fans 00:00 - Oct 27 with 4032 views | Superhoop83 | I have heard some criticism of our team at Loftus Road over the past 40 years and a lot of it has come from me - you need to vent at them at times. However, tonight I sat in a part of the Upper Loft where I've never sat before and I found myself in the company of two extremely loud and unhappy football "experts". The bloke directly behind me started bellowing into the back of my head just 5 minutes into the match at every perceived failing of the players and the formation. Having seen him later, when I dared to turn around, I doubt he has ever played the game in his life - and if he has he wouldn't have kept in play the ball he berated Kakay for not keeping in, calling him a lazy bastard in the process. The other bloke, who must have been on something unless he really is like that, provided a deafening commentary throughout the evening, standing up and berating everyone and, during the penalty shoot out, obsessing loudly about the Sunderland keeper's water bottle. Maybe fans are just more critical and vocal these days, but I won't be sitting in that block ever again.

I apologise. DaveB led me astray.

Moved to the back of S A Road and had 4 or 5 people around us who just hated Kakay. Dont get me wrong, he had a pretty bad game, but they were on him from kick off and it was relentless. A few choice lines were before he did anything and got the ball, one shouted "now don't fk up like usual Ossay" and "you're the most useless fking c**t ive wearing the fking shirt in my life". lovely stuff. Then when he did do something good (cross for Austin for example) "fck me, he's done something good". BUT, as said above, don't think this is new.

It wasn't the standing up that was the problem. I agree this has always been around but last night was something else, in my experience.

QPR fans on 09:56 - Oct 27 with 3379 views | robith | tbh anytime I mention fans slating our own team, my dad tells me he used to sit in front of a guy who turned up to every game and called Stan a c**t for 90 minutes, so it's not a new phenomenon | | | | Login to get fewer ads

QPR fans on 10:58 - Oct 27 with 3188 views | Hayesender | Tbh, I'm finding it a bit tedious over in Y block. A lot of the fans over there and in X block seem to spend the entire game singing such gems as "Does she take it up the arse" "Does your boyfriend know you're here" And singing "get your tits out for the lads" at girls who are barley in their teens. Now I'm no angel, and have said and done things in the past that I cringe about now, but surely they'd be better off actually watching the game and encouraging the team? Or am I just turning into a boring old fart?

There be monsters in y-block - rather like the twilight zone at the bottom of the pacific.

Careful you are sounding a bit like King Lear :) "We have seen the best of our time: machinations, hollowness, treachery, and all ruinous disorders, follow us disquietly to our graves."
