What's the most criminal thing with this is the administrator turning down a £3million bid for Lawrence, which was a cash bid, for a player who is out of contract in the summer.

Have to disagree. At the time it was worth the gamble. Can't let your best player go. We'd be the same if it was for chair or willock. If they'd stayed up it's a good 3 million ignored to let him go on a free

It was worth the gamble?

That depends on whether the £3 million would be the difference between liquidation or not. It is the role of the administrators to realise as much of the asset value that they can, not to concern themselves as to which division Derby would be in next season.

The whole Administrator thing seems strange at Derby. I think there are two administrators involved so is one working 'for' Derby and one 'for' Morris?

This beggars the questions, 'how do they decide anything?' and 'do they both have to agree?'

I understood that the administrators were appointed by Morris (normal practice that they are appointed by whoever has placed them in administration) & are an accounting company that Morris employs as auditors for some of his companies.

I'm fairly sure there is only one administrator, but I would query as to who they are working for. The creditors of DCFC or Mel Morris? I know which of the two I perceive as their concern!

As to their "preferred bidders", I suspect I know the answer to this but it is probably best not to name names!

Derby can’t finish above us now but can still play them in the playoff final.

Thanks Terry. I think I heard the term joint administrators and misunderstood it. It probably means working for two parties, Morris and Derby.

Rooney moaning about officials after last night’s defeat.”They don’t want us in the championship” says shrek. If their owner didn’t try to shaft the rest of the championship teams, they might get a bit more support or sympathy from the other 23 clubs.

No FB. Officially they are not working for Morris as the administrators of DCFC, but their company does as auditors of his other companies. Many people may think that this is a conflict of interests! My question of whose interests they are working for was a tongue in cheek comment!

The joint administrators are Andrew Hosking, Andrew Andronikou & Carl Jackson, all of which have a job tital of Managing Director with the Accountamcy firm Quantuma.

It must be a very dificult role for one company to appoint three very important people to the position!

Watched them last night (a grim 90 mins from the Championship again) and I didn't get his problem. I think he was suggesting the goal was a foul, but Curtis Davies has to be stronger than that for me.

Had some dealings with one of those administrators. Interesting experience.

People are missing the big picture here that there is a brief window opening to buy Chelsea and Derby merge them and establish the new club in say Outer Mongolia.

And the other one he moaned about was a dive... I like Rooney but this recent run of poor results has put even more pressure on him. Hope he holds himself together.

EFL keep extending their request for Derby to show they have money to complete the season, why do the EFL keep waiting and not ACTING? derbu can moane tc but they are being given every chance, if not too many. if they had taken a pt off derby last season and wycombe had stayed up, there might be some sympathy/empathy for them.

We would lose 3 points if their results were expunged, but I don’t know how the table would look if all our rivals had their results scrubbed too.
I might spend a few boring minutes checking on a possible updated table later.

I would take that. If they don't have the cash the Football League need to be asking why they didn't fire sale their players and kick them out.

If our results against Posh were expunged they'd have about 3 points!

Would that mean that Grey's greatest goal since the beginning of the universe (Sky) would also be expunged?

I don’t know whether it would still be included in the goal of the season competition, but he was the only player booked on the night so that might be scrubbed too.
