If Swansea can make a decent fist of the three games in hand it will be a straight fight of 4 clubs for the top two. Bournemoith and Reading are fading fast and Cardiff the only other rivals are a long way back.
10-12 pts clear with 14 to go is a lot to make up.
Interesting set of results tonight - if we are looking upwards to the automatic spots clearly not good with Norwich looking to pull clear & confirm one of the two available, on the other hand the results were more favourable with both Reading & ‘Boro losing again.

We need 3 points tomorrow to give ourselves a bit of breathing space.
Not sure any championship team has gained automatic promotion having lost 11 games. Even if they win all 14 games they have left they would have 91 points. Cannot see any team in this division winning 14 games in a row.
Cardiff ,let's face it have had a remarkable resurgence under MM,a man ridiculed on here. Well,he seems to have done ok thus far.
Pearson will do the same.
We feck around at the back this Saturday and they will do a Huddersfield job on us,make no mistake.Pearson will have watched us with Woody stroking the ball 5 yards to players who are immediately closed down .He'll also accept the throw ins from Woody's touch finders.
We have to address the basics, the greatest of which is starting Smith instead of Hoolie.
Can't see it, they have 14 games left, would have to win almost all of them, on the back of the run they have been on I'd say is nigh impossible.
On the other hand, the way things are going, I wouldn't want them in the playoffs
Watched them yesterday against Bournemouth, second half anyway, and it was a complete contrast for me from what I saw against Luton, a very, very dangerous side at this level. They were everywhere.
God knows what was going on under Harris.
My hope is they run out of steam due to the efforts they are putting in but I can't see them dropping out of play offs.

Can't see it myself as MM is very passionate and will drive them forwards.

They are nailed on for the playoffs, and as I said wouldn't want to meet them.
Got to admit I'm amazed at the tune MM is getting out of them.
You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Sport is amazing which is why it's bets to be coy at times.
McCarthy is no mug. Those are the people who dissed his appointment. He will be eagerly awaiting playing us./
He will have his player pressuring our defenders from the off a Woody strokes the ball to our full backs who I guaranteewill have a cardiff player right in their faces giving them no time on the ball.
