Boris on his bike 17:51 - Jan 11 with 2922 viewsbritferry

was seen cycling around the Olympic Park, which is 7 miles away from Downing St, not been made clear yet how he got there.

After those 2 women got fined £200 each for driving 5 miles for a walk, this could be interesting LOL

This. It's the stupid, selfish type that drive to the beach/park to 'exercise' with friends etc that need hounding.

What are the Corbyns up to now.Is Piers doing his bit now and how about fellow cyclist Jezza.

Class warriors on both sides killing us all.

Virus isnt arsed abut politics.

Boris and the Tories will always get the blame from some, and if Smarmer was in No 10,the same would apply. Whole country is pitiful.

What his brother does has nothing to do with JC. It's like blaming Boris for his dads actions

Don't say that to Perch, he'll get in a right old huff.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

If he is cycling for exercise purposes it’s ok isn’t it ? Driving to a place to meet & exercise has clearly been identified as a no go

I hope the bike was sanitised.

Not sure what the fuss is if he left his place of residence , he's often been seen cycling through london , didn't he introduce the Boris bikes when he was mayor of London.

On another note how can the PM just go for a bike ride around London. Isn’t it a bit of a security issue?

I'd understand the whole "Don't travel to exercise!" hysteria if there was any kind of indication that it's a massive (or even generally a) driver of infections, but it just isn't from what I've seen.

Workplaces. Shops. Homes. Hospitals. Schools. Indoors stuff. That's what's spreading it. Boris doing ten miles on his bike? Someone driving to the beach to take a dog for a walk? Are we seriously suggesting that's likely to lead to an uptick in cases?

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It is only 7 miles away any regular cyclist can do 14 mph so he is only half an hour away .

I think it’s the increased traffic and strain on the emergency services that doesn’t help.

Seems to me that there's more strain on the emergency services being asked to spread themselves thin trying to stop people going for a walk than there would be if they just let people go for a walk.

I'm not suggesting that people be encouraged to climb Pen y Fan, but driving a couple of miles to a beach or a park? Sorry, I'm just not seeing the problem.

Have you not noticed the 100,000s of cyclists even millions on the roads since the pandemic started all getting vital exercise. Must be some even in your remote location. Funny how you never mentioned any of them before.
