One could argue it was Tony Blair that was the turning point, but for all his faults he was a better PM than either of these two will ever be. Iraq was a big mistake and one the left have used to beat centrist politics out of labour. I really fear a Johnson government more than Corbyn, and I think Corbyn would be a disaster. Decent politicians seem to be marginalised. Perhaps the best we can hope is another hung parliament and Labour get a leader with some balls (not any of Jeremy's coterie) or almost an old fashioned patrician Tory. No wonder Sturgeon and Price look reasonable choices compared to a corrupt liar and a marxist idiot.

As the impressive Delyth says if you are in Wales you don't have to vote Conservative or Labour you can vote Plaid, but there again if you are in England there is not as wide a choice.

Is it islamaphobia to be afraid of terrorism. Phobia is an irrational fear of something. I think it is perfectly reasonable to be afraid after terrorists attacks in the UK in the last ten years.

Islamaphobia means to prejudice against all Muslims in a very racist manner.

Thank you, goodnight and bollocks

In the 60' and 70's Irish accents were feared in England, places would have signs up saying 'No Blacks, no Irish' because of yes, racism to blacks but they fered the Irish in case they were IRA. It's the same with Islam, people see people they assume are Muslim and fear they are ISIS or any other radical islamic group. It's a phobia and phobias are irrational, you can't help what scares you. To be scared of something or someone isn't necessatily racist.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Although I can see Flint and Holywell from my bedroom window I will be voting in Ellesmere
port and Neston. So Labour it is.

That said my name is Wigley, so Plaid would be my natural home!

I can see what you are saying but look at what it leads up to.

I have some fond memories of Port Sunlight and Clatterbridge Hospital. Less fond ones of Birkenhead and Elsemere Port.
