Don't expect any "ins" anytime soon. Apparently all of our scouting these past few months has been on the assumption we will stay up.

If Fabs leaves we will need a decent keeper. Nordfeldt would be a disaster. Useless at catching and commanding his box and far too often palms the ball back into play instead of turning it around the post.

It's only the championship. He's a former international.

I'm sure Huw would love another round of keeper shopping though.

He started for Sweden in a World Cup warm up match in March. He must be in with an outside chance of making the squad.

It just screams out my family got slaughtered by Sudanese guerilla types..

Then you take a look at Jarrod Bowen for instance.. the boy is piss and wind.

Why is no one mentioning Dan James? the boys class, by far one of the most exciting youngsters we've got, him and Mcburnie were tearing up the youth league

I'll also throw my Graham Carey into the mix, I've watched him a lot due to my mate being a Plymouth fan, i recommended him last year should we get relegated, he's very similar to Pablo Hernandez, small, skills and great at set pieces

Need to be careful with Dan.

His loan spell at lge 1 Shrewsbury did not last 2 months.

Got to be £40m minimum. Young English centre back, already had a couple of call ups to the England squad. TV deal and transfer fees at an all time high, top clubs will be in for him. Can't be any less than £40m.

We paid 18m+ for Ayew 5 months ago, no way has he dropped 50% in those 6 months

Other other issue generally is do these players have relegation release clauses?

I personally find it hard to envisage they would agree to having their wages cut substantially without the option of leaving on an equally discounted transfer fee.

If that is the case then valuations need to be adjusted down across the board.

That said maybe Mawson could generate some sort of bidding action. But I don't see him fetching more than £25m with the best will in the world and £12-15m would not surprise me if the TV rights deal bombs.

Some of our players may have "sell on" clauses where their previous club get a slice. So this reduces the cash value of any sale.

Danny Ward - not needed at Liverpool, won promotion from this division last season.
Harry Wilson - brilliant for Hull last season, maybe he wants a chance at team that could do something.
Erhan Oztumer - diminutive attacking mid at Walsall who loves a long range goal.

A goal from Ayew A would have been nice in those 5 months. We’ll take a substantial hit I fear.

Additional names:

-Shane Long on loan (f*ck me but it sounds reasonable)
-Mason Mount (Chelsea youngster,an attacking midfielder, spent season with Vitesse in Holland, scored 8 and created 7 assists, seems decent for the Champs?)
-Snodgrass (did ok with Villa this season)
-Harry Wilson (a big reason why Hull pulled through in the 2nd half of the season,a truly promising talent for Liverpool,we can help him develop with our very potent and smooth midfield lol..)
-Nsame (scored 12 goals in the Swiss league with Young Boys, who won the League)
-Nelson Oliveira (I imagine many are familiar with him)
-Forestieri (played for Carlos with Sheffield Wed,had an injury ridden season and rehab due to an operation, but he's solid when fit)
-Bahoken (available for free,we were linked with him even before relegation)
-Belfodil (was very close to joining Everton 2 winters ago,he spent the season on loan with Werder Bremen, but he's a Standard Liege player in Belgium, pretty decent)
-Bjorn Johnsen (winger, one of the top scorers in the Dutch League with Den Haag)
-Linssen (very similar to Johnsen, plays for Vitesse)
Brandley Kuwas (Heracles Almelo player, made a ton of assists, linked with Leeds I think?)
-Miazga (CB,a Chelsea academy,spent season with Vitesse,solid)
