Oil and a proper beard comb will help, not a shite 2 pence plastic one, as the static will do you no favours.
Wax/Balm if you want to style it, but in terms of growth, oil in the early stages to make sure the skin underneath is clean. A beard is only as good as the skin it's growing from.
You can go to the supermarket and be swamped with all sorts of conditioner/balm/facial products, but in reality they all do the same thing, some smell better than others mind. [Post edited 7 Jan 2018 21:29]
