Watford are making themselves safe. Got to hope Stoke can find a goal.

Everything is starting to go against us.....the sands of time and all that. We just had to win that game on Sunday. Burnley, Watford, Hull, Palace all starting to do the business when the chips are really down. We just shit our pants and play with a get a draw mindset.

At last, something goes our way. Not that Slumberland had much hope before, anyway.

Given that we wasted a quarter of the season on Bobby F*ckwit it's a borderline miracle that we're not deeply entrenched in the drop zone even now.

If we can luck out and have Siggy and Llorente available for the rest of the season we're in with a shout. It's going to take that.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

well i guess you have to ask yourself can this team do better than hull over the last 8 games

based on recent evidence, surely not. that said, the schedule breaks kindly. about half the games remaining are against mid table teams with very little to play for, and probably a dead in the water sunderland. i think 10 points would do it. it will be very close.

It's a straight shoot out between us and Hull, and we've spunked them 6 points.

Palace are still in it for my money. We look the most fragile just now, but we have seen how things can turn.

Would it be too crazy to ask for a boro win tomorrow?
I think boro will still go down.
Hull is the team we hope don't pick up any points

i'm with you. hull is playing with confidence. however, i think they might start to go sideways if they have a really bad result.

boro just doesn't look like they can score enough goals to make up the difference.

We have picked picked up 16 points from the last 11 games..
Just under 1.5 per game.
If we can do that over the next 8 we will get another 11 39 points and a superior goal difference to Hull.
Stoke Sunderland and West Brom offer the best chance of wins.
Can also see us getting something at Watford and home to Everton.
Also the bookies still have us as slight favourites to stay up 6/4 whilst Hull are 8/13.
It's going to be scary but we will be ok just.

its about whether we can find goals. Period.
I don't think we will under Clement.
Maybe Ash will hand is one at the end of the season :)

Yep Hull are team, they did a job on us , had the points , new that Llorente and Ollsen were our strong points at the time, they did a pub team game on us , beat us , weakend us ,physically and probably mentally for a bit, IMHO its between us and them.

Palace are generating some momentum and look as if things are beginning to click under Big Sam, Hull are also starting to pull things together and look capable of picking up points. Considering the alleged issues re lack of players, manager club in dispute etc around the start of the season they have done well to get where they are.
Middlesbrough may well park the bus tonight v Hull and could get a result,I think a Boro win would be the best result for the Swans. I had hogh hopes when PC was appointed, results started to come and points were being collected but it's all fizzled out. A point tonight would be good, but we really need all 3 and we need to pick up points going forward. I think a win tonight is achievable, but it's gong to need a big performance from the players. It may be that a big game will bring the best out of them. Motivation shouldn't be an issue after the 5 0 drubbing at WHL earlier this season. It's a big ask especially without a striker, but it can be done.
For me the bottom 3 will be

Sunderland,
Boro,
Swansea.
