Fernando Llorente on 22:30 - Jul 27 by Borojack | We still need another striker at 31 cant see him lasting 90 mins in many games. I have a feeling Ayew will be off as well. Chadli would be my first pick cant see it though. |
He's only bloody 31 mun!

Fernando Llorente on 22:57 - Jul 27 with 2864 views | Kerouac | Thinking about a 3-4-3 (would love to see us try something like this), might look something like this; ------------------------------------- Fabianski ---------------------------------- ------------- Fernandez ------------ Ash ------------- Amat ---------------- Naughton ---------------- Cork ------------- Fer -------------------- Taylor ------------------- Ayew ----------------------------- Siggy ------------------- ------------------------------------- Llorente ----------------------------------- Bench; Nordfeldt, van der Hoorn, Kingsley, Leon, Ki, Montero, Barrow. I reckon this could work really well and suits our current personnel. If we stuck at it for a couple of seasons we could get good at it and have ourselves a system that nobody else in the Prem is playing. That bench has the potential to change games in a positive fashion or close a game down.

I'll take Llorente as a poor man's Zlatan above Gomis, Eder et al...... Getting on a bit yes but still decent quality above ULLOA every day of the week 👠STID. Together Stronger 💪💪💪

Sorry can't see ayew staying and I would think that formation would get annihilated on the wings and not get the best out of gylfi. Expect a 4-5-1 formation. But just our opinions we'll see what guidolin comes up with.
Fernando Llorente on 23:10 - Jul 27 with 2638 views | Dr_Winston | I'd be quite happy with Llorente as first choice with Ayew dipping in and someone like a McBurnie in reserve. Seems more like people are expecting Ayew to be pushed out of the club than suggesting legitimate reasons he might go.

I'd love to see Ayew as an option as a False 9, with Barrow and Routledge/Montero playing out wide just ahead of him. Also a good backup in Glyfi's position if something were to happen to him. Llorente would of course most likely to be a starter up top, but it's good to have options and I can see a lot more goals in the team if we pull this off and keep our best players. Don't think it's a case of Ayew being pushed out, more a case of he'd prefer out.

Maybe. He's tight with Gomis and seeing the way things have progressed there might have given him food for thought. I'd hope to f*ck that we don't let him go cheap, but won't kid myself about us accepting the first eight figure offer.

"[Llorente] is one of the players who has been mentioned," coach Alan Curtis told BBC Wales Sport. "It's probably time we brought a big signing in." Indeed - a direct quote from AC is always a good sign.
