Frank DeBoer - Ajax 18:36 - Mar 20 with 4644 views | CaliforniaJack | Would love to see a Frank DeBoer approach from the board this summer. He just took Ajax to the top of the Eredivisie beating PSV 2-0. His goals for 68 against 18 record would be just what we need. He would sort out our defence and start us playing attractive football. Thoughts?
Frank DeBoer - Ajax on 18:39 - Mar 20 with 3719 views | Swansea93 | Would like to see him here, Ronald Koeman has had big success with Southampton after coming over from Eredivise, but I got a gut feeling like many that Rodgers is being lined up to return.

Frank DeBoer - Ajax on 18:58 - Mar 20 by max936 | How long will he stay this time though. I wonder, enough time to build a legacy and improve on his footballing philosophy [Post edited 20 Mar 2016 18:59]

Unless there was a clause in his release that prevented him taking another premiership job for the rest of the season I wouldn't be that happy about him coming back. If he does come back I hope that he has started a chapter called "plan B" and another about how to deal with teams that let you have the ball, funnel back keeping shape and look to hit you on the break with pace. Meanwhile back on topic de boer would be an interesting candidate. It's how he might adapt to being a small fish in a big pool would be the question. [Post edited 20 Mar 2016 19:14]

I don't. I'm not even suggesting we definitely go for DeBoer. I'd just prefer someone with no history here. No previous links to staff or players to get in the way of what will probably be some tough decisions. Someone with experiences and skills gained elsewhere we could use to strengthen ourselves, like we used to. If it's Rodgers then fine. We could do a lot worse. He just wouldn't be my first choice.

Well quite. Whoever we bring in will be a gamble. All this talk of evolution is trite nonsense. Who knows what approach any new manager will take (apart from the one Huw tells him to take of course).

And the players that Huw buys for him, tells him to play and the jobs for the boys he tells him to give out This will all happen...

Working in the prem is the attractive thing, probably. Money is also a factor. He said in an interview in Jan there was no contact from us but he'd definitely be interested in hearing what we had on offer.

Simple the premier league, Ajax will be out of the CL before Christmas, I'm sure he'd like to follow Koeman, and Hiddink and improve his profile

Frank DeBoer - Ajax on 20:04 - Mar 20 with 3277 views | Joe_bradshaw | He has another year on his contract after this season so Huw would have to pay Ajax for his services. Which makes it sound even more unlikely.

Exactly made PSV the top boys in the Netherlands Realistically I couldnt see either of them coming to us.
