Wtf does it matter what the title is or means, we have what could potentially be a management team to keep us up and develop our team. All we need now is a bit of luck and fairness from match officials. Important ingredients for any team. COYS!

My point being that it's not quite obvious who is in charge?
It's a bit strange to have a manager (Curtis) who has a first team coach that decides the starting XI.
This isn't a criticism - I just haven't seen something like this before. Would be happy to be corrected and have some examples though.
You are making this more complicated than it is. Curt was almost certainly feeling obliged to help the club out in it's hour of need, and I for one will not condemn him for that. He's DEFINITELY not the type to throw his toys out of the pram, unlike many we could mention. In fact, he's openly said he'll step aside if we bring anyone in. If Frankie can't get along with Curt then he won't get along with anyone. Frankie's in charge, that much is clearly obvious to all but the dumbest on here. Sounds, under the circumstances, like a far better way of seeing the rest of the season out than with Curt alone, much as I love the man and the way he's galvanised the squad. As someone else said yesterday, seems the board are damned if they do and damned if they don't. I sincerely hope this works as it should, beginning tonight, but one thing is certain, the club and the players need all the help they can get from us, as fans, to get us out of this nightmare. Come on you Jacks!!.................

You're giving it too much thought. We have a new manager, bossman, gaffer, whatever you want to call him.
They're not going to throw Curt under the bus but he will go back to offering advice, doing a bit of press and looking for the kettle.
Max Hicks at ESPN offered the opinion (I'm calling it that because I don't know if he has any first-hand intelligence) that the "head coach" title was a concession to Guidolin in case we are relegated, so that it won't be on his resume as a manager.
