Shelvey last August 13:30 - Dec 6 with 1888 viewschand8

With foresight, the following should not have been said!

Jonjo Shelvey is confident that Swansea City can qualify for the Champions League this season.
Swansea were fourth in the Premier League entering the international break, after a start to the season that saw them draw at champions Chelsea and beat big-spending Manchester United.
Midfielder Shelvey believes the Welsh club can continue that good form.
"There's no reason why this club can't play Champions League football," said the 23-year-old ex-Liverpool player.

He also told the media that he was quite pleased to be called "the quarterback of the midfield" and another similar epithet.

I don't care. I'm old. I don't have to.

He was obviously asked if Swansea could do it (just like Ranieri/Vardy/Mahrez et al are now being asked the same). If he'd said norfolf 'n' chance I'm sure everyone on here would have been applauding him.

On the whole, the Fester boys are handling the question better but they are probably not scouse cockerneys and thick as shit.
