After the numerous rumours circulating around today, would you accept £20,000,000 and Loic Remy for Wilf, from Chelsea?

That wouldn't be a bad deal imo, better than say £23m and no player coming to us.

£25m plus Remy.

Cash only, unless Remy can build a good extension.

£30m plus Remy.

Lets shift the focus from bony to gomis, there are lots of teams expressing an interest in bony, its pure speculation at this stage,

Dont know, whats Remy's market value 10-12 m and hes proved he can score goals in the premiere league so mayby its less of a risk than getting 30m for Wilf and then having to go out and pay 10m and take a chance on another player. Think he can also play wide too and a front four of Montero, Gylfi, Gomis and Remy would give anybody problems. I suppose its a case of who is actually interested, if Man City and Real Madrid are sniffing around then thats going to push the price up so it would be a no from me then but if Wilf has set his heart on going its probably a pretty good deal. One word of warning I asked a similar question on here a couple of years ago, would you take 15m plus Gylfi for Michu off Spurs and nearly everbody said no, funny how things change.

No.

As fantastic a player as Remi is, hes ALWAYS injured. If we picked him up, then you can be sure we'd be using the £20m to find a back-up for him!

"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."

Yes. Remy is good enough and he won't always be injured, I hope. And I'd take 16 for Gomis and JJS too.
With that we could get all the players we need (full backs, centre midfield and another striker) and possibly pocket some change too.
It finances a minor rebuilding just at the right time, before we need major surgery. Prevention is better than cure!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Can't see Remy wanting to come here. In any case, I'd rather we keep Gomis and bank more cash.

Enjoying the next level

No. It would go against everything we've done for years. We identify players that will fit in to our way of doing things, not take on players that other managers don't want.

Having said that I think Remy's an excellent player for the right team.

I agree with FOAJP. We have Gomis (hopefully!) and Oliveira, and a lot of points on the board. If Bony has to go, I would rather bank the money and run with the players we already have.

35 million minimum it has to be.
I would hope that if he goes then 10million could be put for the first stage of stadium expansion, get another 5000 seats in during the close season
