Is it true that the trust is preventing us from being taken over by an American consortium for 95 million? And the rest of the board want it to go through? I'm not expecting a straight answer btw but I've heard from a very good source at the club.

Seems Phil has gone into ground - probably airing out the Trust bunker and checking the sell by dates on the supplies.

Ha ha I think situations like this isn't the best time for head of the trust to be posting his views on events.I bet there's some really juicy business going on behind the scenes and us mere fans are only aware of what's been happening because of nosey fans and loose lips.I include myself in that bracket btw.I'd have too considering i started the feckin thing.

Reads to me like a classic deflection technique. If this gets dirty, expect a lot more of this sort of thing.

Indeed it is. The clue is here " That is the financial playground our club now find itself in and we are deluded if we think differently." How on earth could trust board members have a financial interest for themselves in all of this? A totally bizarre statement at best, actually libelous at worst!

The irony being an ex board member is one with a financial interest.

Of course, and therefore it seems to me that 'outtolunch' is attempting to implicate one person as having a financial interest!
