Are some people really calling this a 'punt'?
A punt is the likes of Rory Donnelly, Proctor, Bartley and so.
N'gog had failed in his time as a Premier League striker and was doing woeful at Championship level and was heading for a career in League 1.
Why we signed him is ludicrous and really shouldn't be a signing where you shrug your shoulders and mutter 'you win some you lose some'.
It was an abomination of a decision to bring him in and whichever scout suggested him or whichever board member was playing Football Manager should reimburse the club the £500k. |  |

Come on guys thought he was ok at Liverpool game. If FF got such limited time we would probably think he was poor and he cost 16x that.
I wouldn't go as far as to say he was much much much much better than any past or present striker living or dead, (although that might have been said about others before they scored any PL goals for us  ). But cut the guy some slack I am sure he served his purpose whatever that was.
