I think if that thing fell on your head you wouldn’t be seeing much of the compo!

It could come under the heading of 'Glancing blow'?

Not too bad. Should be able to see almost everything.

Wonder why they didn't put them right on the edge of the roof though.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Maybe planned and drawn up before actually bringing in a structural engineer or surveyor? Just a guess of course - but it is a strange one.

Also, does everyone know about the new TV's in the bar? Apparently 50-inch bad boys from LG! As if we need people watching the match from the bar eh?!

Issues with weight from the edge of roof?
Issues with light on screens so making them harder to view?
Issue with Currys Pc World not selling HDMI cable that long from the sky box in Huws office?

Oh but they did get the Currys PC world HDMI cable - a gold plated MONSTER HDMI cable that cost £2.4 million. And they needed two of them! Ended up leaving with extended warranties too along with an extension plug.

Rip off bast@rds!

I don't think it's the size, i think its the colour scheme. I struggled with it on times as well and i've got good vision.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

It's not the size of the clock, it's what you do with it. Allegedly.

It would have been nice if they had given us a countdown on extra time instead of that sodding advert. Moaning I know the screens were great before kick off

They were sh1t.

Look at how Arsenals screens work and copy this for ours. The emirates screens show immediate action replays of home chances, fouls, offside decisions etc to good effect.

The adverts are revenue, yeah but so annoying to watch continually especially if they are on instead of the important match info such as the match clock and the time added.

Anyone get p1ssed off with the new advertisement hoardings - at pitch level too? You now have moving adverts right in front of your eyes during the match. So many people in the first 3 rows were getting p1ssed off with them today as they caught your eye continually with their little less flickering.

The screens looked ace at the start though so ho hum....

if you mean the time added on at the end of the half and match, they are not allowed to - I assume premier league or FA rules? No ground is allowed to show the time in injury time - God knows why - it's a pain in the neck.

The clock never goes above 90 minutes at any single stadium, FA rules I think (Not sure why)

But to lose the clock totally is just plain crap. You can judge the remaining time left from this to a point.

Agreed - why we need an advert the size of the sodding screen is beyond me - why not just show the line ups etc like they do at other grounds

We also dont need live coverage of the match on the screen

And in the build up they had pictures and things running on the screen and then the dopey tvvat that plays the records talking over it and playing music.

Much to learn on this front

My expectations were minuscule. They actually limboed under them.

At least they didn't obstruct my view. Missed the clock though, and told someone that Ipswich beat Norwich 4-1! They're obviously not big enough.....
