GOMIS F'n Signs!!! on 19:41 - Jun 28 by morningstar
The term 'finishing 17th' has become a bit misconstrued over time, and I fail to understand how people use it as some sort of yardstick. When the term is used, what the poster really means is that it is essential that we retain our Premier league status above all else.
That's more like it

Hats off Dave that's the whole BYHOFS argument nuked to f*ck. Also many Wildebeest drink dangerously close to the water and may get away with it for a while but if they continue to hover close to the waters edge a crocodile will get them and drag them back to the championship before they know what's hit them. Or something like that if you get my drift.

Agree it is all about building as a club over the next few years. To do that we need the money that Premier football will give us. As fans we want success on the pitch, but the foundations will give us that.
We are capable of mid table finishes now, the next step is massive and won't come overnight.
The next few seasons of building will be ok for me as long as we don't go too close to the wire
Because the club has been so well run in the past we don't have to sell our players, that's a solid foundation to build ourselves up slowly but surely ,jf Monks has a good season and i cant see any reason why he shouldn't he may hang around for a few good years
Prosser the Tosser dwells on Phil's bum hole like a rusty old hemorrhoid ,fact

One of the things I'm most looking forward to is the Academy. In time there's no reason why we can't begin to consistently produce the kind of talent that a club like Southampton does.
It won't be easy, and the club might have to be a bit ruthless (especially when it comes to some of the coaches and scouts that have hung around for years), but with the catchment area we have to pick from the potential is frightening.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Well he's certainly no mercenary that what I like about him
He will never forget the chance Huw has given him and as a result,no matter what glittering prizes are offered over the years, his loyalty will always be swansea.
(I hope)

Can we pinch Malcolm Elias back? That man's successes has paid his wages about a thousand times over
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................
As others have stated we will be without Bony during ANC plus I expect Bony to move on the season after NEXT, so Gomis will be bedded in perfectly by then to continue in the role... He has signed a 4 year deal see.... Also I can't understand all the bickering about who should get the credit for Gomis signing... At the end of the day who gives a shit... Well Done Swansea City FC .... He's a Swans player now and that's all that matters. End of.....
