Dale attacking midfielder Danny Lloyd has extended his deal at Spotland until the end of the season.

Danny Lloyd joined Dale last month on an initial one-month deal which expired today. This was mainly down to a career threatening injury he suffered while at Gillingham last season. Since joining however, he has impressed the Dale support with his work-rate, his desire to get forward and create and has pretty much been a breath of fresh air in a so far dismal season.

In just 4 games for the club, he's got one assist and picked up two consecutive sponsors Man of the Match awards at the Crown Oil Arena.
