Saturday's matchday programme Wednesday, 31st Oct 2007 06:31
We take an early sneak preview of Saturday's matchday programme with a look at some of the features that will no doubt be talked about on Saturday afternoon.
Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for
Saturday’s league game against Dagenham & Redbridge.
The bumper 60-page issue contains everything you’ve come to expect of the Dale
programme:
- There are the serious and not-so-serious articles, together with the usual
high quality pictures from club photographer Daniel Youngs, with the
Macclesfield game being featured this week.
- Keith Hill gives his thoughts on our draws with Brentford and Morecambe,
while there is an exclusive interview with Dale reserve team player Raphale
Evans.
- A long-serving player from the 1970s is this week’s Centenary Legend,
while we find out who the ‘Queen’s Greatest Hits’ CD belongs to!
- Scrutator looks at how the cost of watching football has rocketed over the
years and Traveller’s Tales returns with a report on the game at Darlington.
- We have another Dale-related quiz to test the grey matter and a look back
38 years to when Dale went top of Division Three.
- There is also a one-off article looking back at when Dale had to play in
their away kit in the recent home game with Brentford.
- Visitors Dagenham & Redbridge get four pages of coverage, while the ‘100
Years of Rochdale AFC’ article returns, with an in-depth look at the 1968/69
and 1969/70 seasons.
All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on
sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, still priced at £2.50.
