Transfer window closes Wednesday, 31st Jan 2018 07:00 by Col It's the last day of the transfer window. The transfer deadline will close at 11pm on Wednesday evening, but deals can be submitted as late as 1am on Thursday 1st February as long as a "deal sheet" is registered with the footballing authorities. So are we going to see anyone arriving or leaving Spotland? Well Keith Hill said at the weekend that he was hoping for two more players to come through the door - one on loan, and one permanent, but he was loathe to indicate positions. One such signing could be Fulham striker Stephen Humphrys. The former Bury trainee was linked with Dale on Twitter by everyone's favourite rumour monger - Pete O'Rourke who suggested Humphrys was joining Dale on loan for the remainder of the season. The 20 year old striker is an Oldham lad with a loan spell at Shrewsbury to his name. Hill's signings so far in the window have suggested its "business as usual". There doesn't appear to have been any attempt at a quick fix but more the long term approach to recruitment. In terms of exits, there's can't be many possible departures. We've had Keith Keane and Niall Canavan ruled out for the remainder of the season. Reece Brown clearly seems surplus to requirements but that doesn't necessarily mean someone will come in for him. There's been much talk of a departure for Callum Camps. Dale won't be under pressure to sell him as he signed a three year contract last Summer, but I don't think anyone would be surprised if there wasn't an agreement similar to the one that saw Jamie Allen depart at the end of the last window. But with the possibility of a money making tie against Spurs on the horizon if we can get past Millwall, you'd assume we'd be loathe to risk that.
