Dale picked up a rather substantial amount of prize money for their win over Aldershot Town on Tuesday evening.

We picked up a cheque for £27,000 for beating Aldershot on Tuesday as the prize money for reaching Round Three. A quick calculation and forgetting gate receipts, the club run has given us £57,500. The break down is

First Round prize money: £18,000

Sunday rearrangement fee: £12,500

Second Round prize money: £27,000

Total so far: £57,500
