"We're not famous anymore"-maybe?
Monday, 30th Dec 2013 21:22

Rochdale apparently still have tickets on sale for Saturday's trip to Spotland, however they have issued a stern warning that Leeds fans trying to buy tickets in the home end will be unsuccessful as they are only on sale to home supporters only.

Obviously we have not stirred up that much interest in the town that gave us Gracie Fields, Mike Harding and the Co-Operative movement, Spotland's holds just 10,249 supporters and with Leeds having sold out the Wilbutts Lane end of the ground, interest amongst the locals has clearly been slow despite claims that sales have been "brisk" on the official Dale website.there were still tickets available for sale this morning (Monday) and any left will remain on sale right up until 7pm on Friday evening.

Rochdale however have warned fans that any tickets left are for home fans only. They claim their ticket office staff have been instructed not to sell tickets to anyone who they suspect are Leeds Utd supporters and may ask for proof of ID. They have also warned that if any Leeds fans do manage to obtain tickets for the home end they may be refused admission or ejected.

So you have been warned!
