Sneak preview of Tranmere programme Thursday, 30th Dec 2010 15:45 by Col Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One game against Tranmere Rovers. The programme has been increased to 76 pages this season, but with the same number of advert pages as last year, meaning there is even more to keep you entertained before, during and after the match. We start with a front cover image of on-loan striker Bobby Grant, who made a goalscoring debut with a fine goal against Swindon. As usual, there are the serious and not-so-serious articles, which in this issue include a look back at 2010 and a run down of our Top 15 league goals scored by Dale's captain, Gary Jones. Keith Hill gives his thoughts on the problems of training in poor weather, while we also have an in-depth interview with Dale winger Joe Thompson. A new style Dale Quiz has been compiled to test the grey matter and, as is tradition, we also have a Quiz of the Year so you can test your Dale knowledge of 2010. Traveller's Tales reports on the trip to Peterborough, while there are in-depth previews of forthcoming home and away fixtures. Of course, there are many new features, including The Day I Was Born, where we look back at what was happening on the day one particular Dale player came into the world. Visitors Tranmere Rovers get nine pages of coverage, with My First Time reflecting on a visit to Prenton Park where evasive action had to be taken. All this and much, much more will be in Saturday's The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
