| News Comment | Watch me rise up and leave, all the ashes you made out of me – Report at 14:14:49
The language about the next generation chimes hard. I stopped bringing my seven year old son after three abject defeats in a row - his first three games. He sat down in Ellerslie Road after the Southampton 1-0 in tears and shouted “why do we always lose!” Feels like time for a return |

Fantastic piece. Here's to Jimmy, our best chance to dispel the madness since Warnock came in. He looks like he's got balls and something to prove, which he'll need |
| News Comment | Don't cry for me... - Preview at 01:07:49
I imagine that was therapeutic to write if nothing else Clive! Ah well. We'll beat Sunderland 3-0 with a Hoilett double and a Fer volley from 30 yards, 'Arry's phone will break on Monday and we'll keep Remy, and the footballing Gods once again will have played us for their sport |
| News Comment | A way to win - report at 05:01:11
The definitive report of one of the greatest days in our history. Clive shut down your bloody computer and take a month off. Forget QPR. Ignore them. You're going to need it, the story continues next year... |
| News Comment | Transfer Deadline Day sort of live — LFW blog at 18:58:16
@N12Hoop and our new Spanish midfielder is busy tweeting many many pictures of his love of Real Madrid. Might take them a while to settle in! Glad Chelsea at home is coming up. They should both enjoy that |
| News Comment | Sabah bien Cissé - full match report at 23:19:57
@18StoneOfHoop that match was my 30th birthday so I dragged a whole load of people down, including my fiancé (easy to get tickets in those days) That was actually the hottest ever day recorded in the UK, let alone for a football match. My now missus spent the game glued to a sweaty skinhead next to her on the other side, narrowly missed being covered in puke by a kid with sunstroke, and has refused to attend Rangers ever since. Brilliant day |
| News Comment | The sky is blue — Gianni Paladini leaves QPR at 20:39:11
Superb piece. A lot I didn't know in there, having had to read between the lines as various people argued their way through it on messageboards over the years. Absolute respect for being the first choice FreeSeatPete, and rejecting the opportunity. The difference between a journalist and an attention whore. Having said all that, and knowing a few of the people close to his dodgy and often catastrophic deals over the years, I do wonder if without someone in charge so clearly willing to bend the rules, we would have been a lot more serious trouble in the early years? If we'd have had a straight-down-the-line book-keeping type instead of GP, would we have meekly accepted Div1, where after all we came from? Bent and incompetent yes, but we are still here. Dunno, more than willing to be shouted down. |
