You want confirmation what a gratuitous signing Ronnie was? Well here it is. Break the budget to get in a CB that means you have to bin a prospect up to Aberdeen for AND then bench your best central defender. Then play him at right fckn back even though your captain has a season and a half experience playing there. Then put him in as a CB with the wrong partner and watch the team fall apart conceding 11 without reply. Then, decide that JCS and Cookie are available, so stick him in midfield for 5 minutes 'til M'Bengue gets injured so that you have to pull him back to RB. Or, you could have spent that £4.5m on three players to cover injuries. And maybe not loan your actual damage limitation centre mid out. Madness anywhere else; par for the 'kin course at our 🤡 club... |

Fed up with this club. Completely broken. This lot are meant to be in the same division as us. So, so far behind them in every aspect of football. A 'kin joke of a club. They are better individually and collectively. More skillful, more physical, more technical. 0-10 in the last three games, two of them at home. Just liquidate and put us all out of our misery. |

It's alright though, Ziyad may be back next season. The issue with the squad is that the reserves are the players "picked for the future" even though they are needed today. Keep fit, we're ok. Get these injuries, we're fckd. Most other clubs have 1 or 2 seriously near the first team, Nourry likes to think we have 5 or 6 but none of them would consistly put adequate performances in for the first team. We HAVE to get the fitness side right or we will be looking down once more. |

Ian Holloway, WHAT A GUY. https://www.theguardian.com/fo Read this. I know that this board annoys me as it under-appreciates Illias Chair, but surely we all love Olly, don't we? |

No, we'll be 16th in the Championship getting knocked out of the League and FA Cups at the first round stage whilst bemoaning the fact that we have the 18th lowest wage bill in the league... |

Spending £4.5m on a CB then playing him at right back ahead of our RB just shows what a gratuitous and pountless signing Edwards is. Unbalanced back 4 when that was previously the least of our worries. So bloody QPR. |

Not for the first time, it's men v boys out there. Saito, Esq, Morgan, Walsh, Bennie L1 at best. Nothing going forward, no shape, no drive, no press. It all depends when they choose to declare today. I'm going for 4. Awful, awful club right now. [Post edited 28 Feb 17:09]

Got the tix for this game AFTER being at St Mary's on Tuesday. Feeling like sh1te then with the starts of this cold, which is now at full tilt making me feel even worse. Mad. Just mad. The capitulation after Madsen's departure was as stark as you'll see. It was on a par with that Wrexham debacle that still rankles big. The last home game v Blackburn and the crap on Tuesday were not lost to "better" teams, they were lost through a massive lack of effort. In both games, our lot had no time on the ball and they had all the time and space in the world. Our players are either knackered, inexperienced or 'kin lazy, but after seeing Sheff U on Weds, if they do not match their effort we will again be facing down the barell of the gun. As a club, we are just not very good. Mis-managed at all levels and once again relying on a squad whose only fit players are mostly more suited to L1 or L2 at best. If that does not come with an increase in effort, there will only be one outcome... **shudder** |

100% Yes, the game is more physical and more constant, but it is the same for every other team and none of them seem to have 9 players out each week. Combine that with a small, unbalanced squad and your left with having to get a bunch of kids, who should be learning through a loan at another EFL club, on a pitch they are not ready for. We are a really, really poor football club these days and it breaks my heart how far we are away from the team I grew up with. |

Yep, should be playing regularly at L1 or L2 level, but had to stay here getting odd minutes here ndcthere 'cos Bicycle Ben can't keep players fit. Same with Kolli, who remains miles off it at the moment. The odd great 20 mins here and there of excellence is not enough. |
