Alright lads.... What's this lad like. Looks awesome based on 5 goals scored on youtube....but don't a lot of players! How's this season going - always look out for your results now - is promotion on the cards? How's Done doing? Wiseman coming along amazingly for us - starting to look every bit a Champ centre back. O'Grady a beast.. |

O'Grady Wow, as Flicker would say. Top draw. Perks close behind. All the best for next season, genuinely. |

Oh and just to add... we don't need any central midfielders. With perks, dawson, mellis and Toure/Etuhu, plus O'briend RNL, we're fine. Daggers and McNults also played there briefly yesterday!! |

Etuhu isn't better out wide mate. Flicker has turned him into a central midfield machine. Average ppg with him in the middle - 2.42 I think! Really missed him of late and he was immense yesterday. Totally different player to the one we saw at the beginning of the season. |

That'sa right mate, I did. Keeping us up could well send them down. |

I'm sure you will be absolutely fine buddy. Although just looked at the table - that win was pretty crucial for you wasn't it - didn't appreciate it was that close! Looks to me like you need just one more win - perhaps even a couple of draws would do you given the amount of teams involved. |

gotchya, cheers mate - do you think Matty Done will end up back with you next year? |
| Forum Reply | barnsley at 17:25 2 Apr 2013
should have been 5/6/7 mate..COGBA was immense - a real fans favourite, as are Daggers, Perks, Dawson (did he play for you?) and Wiseman had a good game too. Real belief now that we can stay up - the job Flicker has done is miraculous. Looks like things are turning for you and Hill to sign a long term deal? All the best. Oh and yes we are finding it very very funny that Wednesday let us have COGBA - completely bemusing/amusing. Could be a bizarre situation in which he sends his parent club down (although rumour is that we have already agreed a deal for him and the way he talks would suggest that may be the case). |

When did I mention promotion? I expect us to compete. There is a difference. The way hill talked, we didn't even deserve to be there, which is b&llocks. |

Yes, I do. We expect to compete in the championship. We re the longest serving club in the second tier in England. Being told by hill week in week out they we had no right to even draw against opponents was wrong, as has been proved by his departure - promotion form. |

Cheers mate, I watch Dale's progress with interest. I know there is a lot of bitter feeling towards my club because of Parkin and then more so, Hillcroft. However, that feeling isn't mutual and it is understandble. We lost our messiah (wilson) to Sheffield Wednesday and it bloody hurt - even worse so when it was to a butter rival. I liked Hill at Barnsley, I think he is a good manager but he made a fatal error - he squared up to the fans. He also tried to play down the fan's expectations (understandably) but this came across as being disrespectful to the club. He also ran out of ideas towards the end and lost the plot. Flicker has tweaked things and is reaping the rewards of Hill's good recruitment. I get the feeling that the players have a bit more respect for Flicker than they did for Hill. Hope he manages to turn you lot round and stays with you this time, a good honest football club trying to do things the right way - same as BFC. |

My view is that it will be deflection tactics. Or probably nothing in it at all. The guy talks in riddles, usually I think to protect his own players, sometimes just because he is a bit nuts. |

How's Keith doing since his return? Does he seem any different a character? |

Done might happen. He's gash. |
| Forum Reply | Fllicker will be our manager come August 2013 at 21:59 23 Jan 2013
I'm pretty sure of that, he's like Keith hill, but without the crap bits like slagging off a fan base, the lifeblood of the club, not attacking the opposition and just playing across the back four, losing lots of football games and being a total tit in interviews. Very interested to see how things work out for keef. Everything in his interview suggests he was out of his depth in the championship and couldn't handle the pressure. When he touted himself for the Leeds, burley, Blackburn job, any job that came up I did wonder how the hell he would cope with the huge pressures of the job when he couldn't cope at oakwell and were not exactly real Madrid. |

That's right, it was split from what I remember. Most BFC thought Wilson was a judas when he left but times a great healer. I'm sure if kh gets you winning again, no one will give a stuff. Please can you sign matt done from us? Thanks. |

Totally agree about losing vaz te, we should have got more for him. But hill only sanctioned a one year contract and his agent held a gun to our head. The football post jan 2012 was totally unacceptable. His attitude was worse. There was no plan b. you can't blame that all on losing vaz. Tbh the club and hill didn't match each other. Best of luck. |
