Am just thinking that Clark went on and on about getting to the end of the season and then having all of these important meetings about the futures of all of his players. Well how long can that of taken! It would have been like when they tell the X Factor contestants they're not through to the final four at judges house!
I have made a decision .. and I'm afraid I can't take you with me (repeat 25 times!)
Wonder how those players all feel now he's fallen on his sword? |

Met Clarke a few times and he was one of the most genuinely nice blokes - always happy to do autographs, talk about why we weren't doing well and no surprise he was a 'fans' favourite' wherever he went.
Good luck to him for the future. |

Agree with much of this - think Karl will have given him the option (probably means he has to pay him less as well!) and he'll have taken the option to walk. No one talks about planning for next season as much as Clark and then does one. He'll have known his budget, Karl's limitations and what was expected weeks ago and so nothing new will have cropped up since and therefore I reckon the decision was taken out of his hands. |
