After 15 minutes it just looked like a question of how many we would score, and you were thinking Shrewsbury could easily be battling relegation this season of the evidence of what we had seen. In the end we were under pressure and hanging on a little, and Shrewsbury had proved to be a very pacy attacking side who look to have some good players and a decent team. It was a great game to watch and one any neutrals would have enjoyed, a good advert for League 1 football.
A special mention for Calvin Andrew who turned in an immense performance which was only missing a goal, which he would have richly deserved. At times in the first half he looked almost unplayable, long may it continue. |
