If renewables are cheaper then why are our bills going up? UK share of CO2 pollution...0.88% China's share....32.88% How much they can store is a real question and I don't really trust his answer. Can they really store a weeks worth of power to run the whole country? And will that still be true if we are all using EV's? Will that be true when we no longer use any gas or coal? I don't think we should make any plans that include possible reliance on other countries, we should aim to be self sufficient. |

Gary Speed was a great player and no doubt a very nice person but I can't have any respect for anyone who hangs themselves in the family home and so is hanging there for his wife and young children to find. What effect did that have on his children? |

At least you accept the majority on here aren't interested in your trust obsessed posts. What happened with the trust is in the past, the Levein/Kapaln thing is very recent, still news. That deal was good for the then owners, not so good for the trust and the the bottlers who took it. The trust shares got bought on the cheap which I thought you were against seeing as you always...ALWAYS repeat they should be making money. It's still boring and I don't say that as any kind of ruling elite, that is just an absurd thing to say. No poster on this board tells Keith or the Mods what to do, they tell us. We are just members with different opinions to you. |

They have basically defeated NATO..... I'll just leave this here and it should end the thread because anyone who answers this clown now can only expect absurd answers. Seriously, read his post and decide if he's worth answering. And having made your own minds up...using critical thinking of course....I hope you are happy with your choice. |

AW go fish. You are the King of nonsense and Res is your Jester. Can a question be whataboutery? In fact I haven't said whatabout in any respect, I made no counter accusations so it's a total fail on the comprehension front from you so....complete nonsense. Hang on, I sense some whataboutery coming..................nah, it was wind. |

No, it doesn't mean you are right. It means you keep posting the same inane drivel time after time after time after time after time after time after time....ad nauseam. A mod even asked you to stop going on about it but you can't help yourself and it's boring. Everything else that has been said to you about being wrong has stuck, well with everybody but yourself. It was time to change the record months ago. |

I hve a taxi driving mate, he had a car that had done over 500k when someone crashed into him and wrote it off. Will an electric car get 500k miles in before the battery needs replacing? What will the resale value of an electric car be when it's 7 or 8 years old and the battery is close to needing replacing? How much does it cost to replace an EV electric battery.? What are the environmental issues around EV cars? Never mind the child exploitation issues involved in mining the rare chemicsls used. Will there be enough rare chemicals to make enough EV's for everyone who needs or wants a car? |

From where I am the only one doing any sneering is you. Johnson, Mogg and Farage couldn't deliver Pizza's so the sunlit uplands was no surprise. Now about the money... |

I might join you, the church should have been removed from political matters a long time ago. |

You were right, which time, when you are against legal action or saying you're for legal action? No one ever said a democratic vote had to have the best result, that's not what democracy is, you get what you vote for whether it's good or bad. When the board backpeddled on their members choice they were wrong and you are wrong. And boring, you're very boring. |

Yeah but the forecasts all said we'd vote remain in the first place, you can't trust forecasts, you can't trust politicians because they lie. People need to suck it up and let Labour have their full turn. I'm not keen on them but what other options (viable options) are there? |

Is Israel in Europe? Have they applied to join the EU or NATO? Are they on Russia's border? Has any European country invadee another purely because they were thinking about joining the EU or NATO? They haven't even attacked Russia (militarily) after their illegal invasion of Ukraine. Now Israel, why did they invade Lebanon? Because they were being attacked by Hezbollah who are where....Beirut...Lebanon... I put it in very simple terms just for you. |

And yet a joined up Europe was the thing that created the problem in the first place, we didn't have this immigration issue until the EU started...1993 before you say anything. The EU opened the borders, Blair went batchit crazy and didn't use the rules to limit numbers, the so called open door policy, and the rest is history. Now this Eu that you say can provide the answers is getting worse as time passes, there is growing discord across Europe and members are becoming more and more unruly. Now Poland, funny that they seem to be at the forefront of concerns when their leader is Donald Tusk... |

Too right, anybody who thinks appeasing Putin is the way forward hasn't learned anything from history. |

It's long puzzled me that those whio still clamour for the EU haven't seen (or refuse to see) what's happening across the continent. The ordinary people, many of whom voted to join the EU in the first place, have had enough. The open borders and rampant immigration has taken it's toll. Even in Germany there is a rising tide of resentment. theguardian.com/world/2024/oct/17/why-immigration-back-european-union-agenda-far-right#:~:text=Nonetheless%2C%20and%20despite%20irregular%20immigration,success%20of%20far-right%20parties. |

Yes it is a large number of people. They are barking though, you can't just ditch a result because a vast minority don't like it. If they doubled the number it's barely more than 10% of those who voted. |

What's happening in Poland then? Are they building a Trump like wall? |
