I have to agree with everyone. GSE have always said that they're in it for the long haul but swapping Addison for Shackell (or anyone) smacks of short-termism and sends a signal to the fans. I always thought Americans were supposed to be big on PR. The ones we have seem to be amateurs. |

Let us suppose for a moment that the statement is all Tomasz's own work. In this case I think what Tomasz is actually saying is "You can make yourself look an ignorant idiot Mr Clough but I'm above all that". Either way, the Club's handling of the whole affair is a disgrace. |

I agree entirely. The difference for Cywka on the journey home is probably that rather than feeling self-conscious towards his teammates about his error, he probably had more than one put an arm round him and be thankful that it wasn't they who made the error. At the end of the day, we stopped the losing streak and Clough said himself that he would've taken that before 3pm. I do fear he's lost the dressing room (if he hadn't already) and that's not good news.
I've always wanted Clough to succeed but more and more I'm now thinking the end of the season would be a good time to cut him loose. |

I'm not all convinced Clough isn't blameless. He's never quite convinced me even after two years - and that must say something in itself. The fans still need to make their feelings known though. |

Look at the proportion of loanees to permanent signings rather than when the deals were done. Everybody does their business in the last few hours of the transfer windows. It's called brinksmanship. |
