QPR humbled by MK Dons cup massacre — full match report
at 19:34:35

Thank God for Harrys honesty. Warnock would've blamed the match officials, the
press, picked on an oppsitions player, the sun, the ballboy - anyone, but himself.
Hughes would've done the above and brought to light the 'positives' from the game.

I don't think I've watched a more 'dumberer' footballer than Anton Ferdinand.
He's got all the attributes to be an average footballer at best, but I liken him
to Frankensteins monster -" dur...dur...and more dur (tweet)". Hello Turkey I hope Anton !!

Faurlins had his day. Too left footed, too slow. Granero too right footed. Too
slow.

Mackie - I so want him to do well, but I'm slowly running out of excuses to my
mates to why he should be a starter.

Jason Park - What on earth did he do at Man Utd ? Every Man U fan said he played
in every important game for them. he averaged 20 games a season in 8 years -
hardly a stalwart. Yesterday he was like a cow going through the latter stages
of BSC. Click - double barrel - boom boom (one boom for Bosingwa!).

I can't be bothered with the rest. Thank goodness we have Nelson for one more
game and the battling qualities of Derry and Hill. Not perfect, but essential in
our fight for survival.

Just to compound matters Brentford came within a whisker of upsetting former
Champion League winners. Leeds done Spurs and the mighty Oldham looked
brilliant against Liverpool.

Ferk the FA Cup. Harry sign some decent players on shit wages. Stick at it Mr
Fernandes and the Board and we'll get out of this Maelstrom and worry what all
the fuss was about ..............dur....dur....click...boom....

LFW end of term report, every player assessed — defence
at 19:07:42

Unfortunately I wil disagree with half the markings, only because I think you've
placed more emphasis on the last ten games of the season. Yes Clint Hill had a
decent end of season campaign, but he was pretty poor at the start. Ill
disciplined, liable to give a foul in dangerous areas (& still did that at the end).
Out on loan too. C+ if your going on the old O Level grading. Fitz was always an
enigma. He either played very well (rare) or too was too poor (often) with
nothing in between - D. Armband Traore frustrated me more than anyone.
Physically better than Connolly, Gabbidon, Young, but no football brain for a
left back. Quite liked him further up the field - C. The three mentioned above
would be D's for the season. None of them comfotable on the ball and too often
looking to have the ball at their feet as little as possible. Ferdinand has been
very disappointing. Often marking the goal line rather than an oppositions
attacker in the box. I'm sure he'll improve, but a little too much media this
season (not including the Terry affair) - Cminus. Paddy Kenny tried, but age
crept up pretty quickly and not dominant enough in 18 yard box - C minus.
Taiwo had a mare for the first few matches and you could see why he wasn't
fancied in Italy, but considering the clubs position when joining he improved
to a fair standard especially at Home C+. Nessum Dorma improved after a poor
early campaign. We got away with afew of his errors (V Persie), but preferred
to other right backs although I would purchase another - C. People tend to forget
that we were woeful for most of the year and scraped survival. Nobody gets an
A or a B I'm afraid.

Seven lessons to help QPR avoid a return to the turkey farm
at 22:51:40

The most important point out of everything you've written is the last one.
We can all give an example of a specific incident, goal, sending off etc, but
every game we won at Home, Our Cave, was down to QPR getting behind
the team and booing the opposition from the off. Chelsea players shat
themselves. Wigan lost out to one of their relegation rivals. Pool, Arse and
Spurts crumbled. Swansea and Stoke were caught out. For years I've been constantly annoyed at other QPR supporters just turning up to a game and just cheering on the odd occasion and goals. Footballs an emotional game. I admit I 'boo', but I still get behind the team and it appears that a lot of other supporters are doing this too ... and it works ! Lets do it again and the rest will follow.

A tactical take on the great escape — tactics
at 05:56:22

Nice to see some thought regarding tactics Neil. I ,too, analyse every game I go
to and must get on peoples nerves offering incessant comment on the state of
play. I even get on my own nerves and should shut up sometimes ! I think we've
got away with a lot of our play for the last two years - lack of pace throughout
the team, headless chicken syndrome, defenders lack of skill etc, but we've got
away with it due to a combination of having a few players with skill or a brain.
I know it takes a combination of skills for a team to succeed and we survived
this season by the skin of our teeth with Mark Hughes spotting the teams lack
of athleticism as a main contributing factor to our lack of decent results.
Neil Warnock might have spotted the same thing, but suffered by not
acquiring this type of player pre season. Obviously not having a transfer budget
hindered his plans, but he did sign some dross that he didn't need to.
We need a bit of quality at the back as a main priority in my opinion as our
defenders are all a bit similar. I don't think we have one that is truly
comfortable on the ball and I long a signing of Glen Roeders, Terry Fenwicks,
Dave Bardsleys, Clive Wilson or Kenny Sansoms class class controlling the defence.
