I remember him from Saturday's game - not for his performance - but only because he had the same name as a former Yarkshire cricketer. He was pretty anonymous for Hartlepool on Saturday to be honest. |

Supporters can leave when they want. Once they've paid their entrance fee, it's up to them how long they stay. It's not compulsory to stay. Why does it matter ? |

Interesting that you should say that. There was a bloke sat a couple of seats from me in the stand equipped with a clipboard, teamsheet and plenty of paper marked out like a football pitch. Him and his companion were either from Doncaster or Burton I suspect, doing a 'recce' for the forthcoming games.. He was marking out players in various positions, how we set up at corners, free-kicks and the like and who played where. He was making all sorts of diagrams, notes and little sketches. I lost count of the times he seemed to scribble out what he had just drawn/written simply because he presumably lost track of who was where because of the options we explored. I hope the relevant team is just as confused when we line up against them in the coming weeks. |

Thought we always looked vulnerable from crosses and attacks down the wing and Rafferty wasn't able to deal very effectively with what he was asked to do. Definitely needs to up his game. As said, we could have been behind before we scored and they did miss some howlers, especially when their player ended up in the net and two of them missed the ball completely. A better team would have certainly scored against us, but we were pretty solid all round apart from mentioned above. We looked a well organised outfit considering it was only the first game of the season and many haven't played together in a League game before. Hartlepool looked a beaten side well before the final whistle and some of their body language was poor, even early on. Onwards and upwards. Dale showed great promise and we have lots to look forward to I think. |
| Forum Thread | Keith Hill refuses after match interview. at 17:16 3 Aug 2013
According to Radio Manchester, Keith Hill says there will be no immediate post-match interviews at all this season. Any comments to the media will be made on the day following games, after a 'period of reflection'. |

Windows smashed at club shop and a group of Hartlepool morons scrapping and throwing missiles in Willbutts lane to the embarrassment of their own. Bloody idiots. |
| Forum Reply | Coventry City - Liquidated !! at 12:58 2 Aug 2013
Surely, if they have been liquidated, they cease to exist. They have been closed down. They have no assets. How do the club now kick off a new season when it doesn't legally exist, when all the playing contracts will be null and void and Coventry City is no more ? It's what Pompey have been trying to avoid for years. As for those who run the club. I hope they are wearing huge wigs, silly face make-up and outsize shoes, because they are all a load of clowns. |
