I still rue Ray Houghton not signing (when it looked to be a done deal) and Miky Hazard. A mate of mine swore blind that as he was exiting the box office, Hazard exited LR and intimated it was on. Houghton would have been outstanding in the B&W and I think Hazard in that Venables team would have similarly shone. |

I believe I am right when I say this, but didn't we miss out on signing Kevin Keegan from Scunthorpe over a few thousand pounds? Our prevarication merely galvanised Liverpool into action. The rest, as they say, is history! |

Basically, it revolves around the father of the bride in Cana going something like this, 'Crap, we've run out of wine, but we've lots of water. Oi, Jesus, we need a miracle!' See further the LFW Glossary thread for the QPR equivalent of running out of wine, too. |

It might be sensible and cost-effective to read John 2:1-12 for clues on the chemical formula to turn water into wine. |

Rabbit holes you say. By any chance, do you know if there are any skylarks in the area? |

When an A380 takes off, you don't want to be taking a penalty! |

The bigger problem is that 5 months in, he's not made nor appeared to be a discernable difference to that which the UK has endured post-Brexit. Being in opposition is considerably easier than government. People forget how hopelessly forlorn Thatcher's first few years were prior to the Falklands, and the new party in power often needs time to bed in to being in government. Blair, however, was considerably more savvy upon taking the reins; rolling out policies generally seen as favourable and having in Jonathan Powell, a smart operator as his chief of staff. Starmer has already dropped his chief of staff and lead with decisions that have not gone down well. The winter fuel payments were particularly hard to explain. However, he's on to a loser from the outset in my view. I don't think the Tory press will give him a chance and will certainly seek to vilify at every opportunity above and beyond what was metered out to his five immediate predecessors who frequently deserved vilification. But he does need to up his game because we can't necessarily rely upon the Argies to rouse themselves into action (although I suspect Senór Milei would be up for it) and that supposes we've kept our military capabilities up over the last 43 years, to being able to sail 8,000 miles south to engage in a conflict. Frankly, when looking at the matter globally, there appear to be far too many egotistical and idiotic leaders in charge then there are clever ones. |

I think you'll find Yang Minh-Hyeok is actually John Matthews in Korean! |

I went with Air France via Paris and as suggested above, Iberia out of Madrid might be an option. As I met a lot of Canadians there, then unless the Silly Country won't allow Air Canada to fly over their airspace, that could be an option. I also saw plenty of Yanks there who came in via Mexico. I once got a flight from Guatemala City to San Jose on Cubana Air, which originated from Havana. That said, flying Cubana Air is a bit of a 'return to Jesus' experience! Enjoy, cracking place. |

If a billion Chinese buy one each, they'll have no PSR worries. |

Reading between the lines here, it's obvious one of our best players ever and the peoples' champion, has been the victim of a heinous wrong. Clearly, she headbutted his foot! I remind people what Nelson Mandela wrote in his autobiography: 'They incarcerated me. They beat Steve Biko to death. They shot Martin Luther King. But we all walked in the shadow of Joseph Barton's long walk to freedom. My 27 years in jail was club tropicana compared to what He faces in just one day!' Maybe some people should remember these words and that Joey reads books and probably in French, too! #nothisfsult #justice4joey #Tevezdived |

Getting Edwards in early doors looking as sensible as it was fortuitous. |

True. However, if he has indicated that he won't re-sign, then QPR can try and get something from a buying club and let him go now, as opposed to letting the contract run down. Might only be a few hundred thousand, and will depend how desperate the buying club are and us to an extent. Of course, we'll save on wages most notable in that period between the last game of the season and 30 June. However, with Jimmy, if he were to see out his contract and leave at the end of the season, I have no doubt that he'd give it 100% right to the end. |
