We might want to check that he is any good first before selling Darling |

That's not a great way to impress clubs thinking of spending millions on him |

There is a week of the transfer window left. They have either get rid today and have someone ready to go tomorrow to make any transfer decisions. Or give him a few weeks with any signings that are made. Signing players this window then sacking him in Feb is the worst option |

There was a lot of poor decision making and naivety from the Swans last night. The first half we were all over them, they barely registered an attack. But so many times we were crossing into a crowd of defenders. Cutting balls back to no one, breaking forward with little support. Bianchinni broke into the box, had the defender all over him and rather than go down from the contact, he got to the by-line and shot from an impossible angle. When Sheff Utds player was touched in the box, he went straight down and won the pen. I don't know what Wilson needs to do to get on the bench as we are screaming out for a goal scorer |
| Forum Reply | Should Coleman ask Curt for advice/help? at 05:45 22 Jan 2025
Coleman should be considering his own position as Chairman, or certainly the other owners should. The club is a shambles off the pitch as well as on. Clearly not up to the job |

He went to Newcastle 2 days later. He was never going to risk getting injured and missing out on that. They should never have played him. |

Nowhere near what we were paying a Director of Football as it would be only when required. They'd have an up to date, and in depth view of the market |
| Forum Reply | Should Coleman ask Curt for advice/help? at 20:28 20 Jan 2025
No. Absolutely not!! Either get an experienced director of football in or get a Sports Consultancy to do it for a period. Have them scour the globe for options, run the analysis on how they would fit with the structure of the club and the players available. The club should have moved on from the days of a bunch of blokes in a pub thinking up names over a few pints |

It's the allowing us to replace that concerns me. Get someone signed and in the door, then let him go. It'll be the usual thing where we let him go and then no in comings happen. |
| Forum Reply | Azeem Abdulai at 22:30 19 Jan 2025
Our squad is wafer thin as it is, selling a player who regularly makes the bench with nothing incoming is madness |
| Forum Reply | Does williams keep his job after this? at 13:59 19 Jan 2025
Even if Curt was well, what would he know on the subject of football managers around the world in 2025? We need to be able to look beyond people who have been at the club. Reach out to find the best person available wherever they are in the world. Not just someone who was either here before or linked to the FAW. |
| Forum Reply | Jefferson Montero at 07:29 18 Jan 2025
He wasn't there as a goal scorer, he was an out and out winger and what he was really good at was putting some excitement into a game. When he was on form you wanted him to get the ball to see what he would do. How many players have we got now or in the last few years can you say that about? No one since Dan James. The crowds are dropping as it's not entertaining any more |
| Forum Reply | Jefferson Montero at 20:22 17 Jan 2025
I remember him playing against us in a pre season friendly. He ran through us for fun. One hell of a player on his day. |

The whole thing is a toothless waste of time. If you are going for promotion then would you care if you broke the rules? By the time you declare it then youre up and they can't touch you until your relegated. At which time you've got parachute money in the bank. If you're headed for the drop and spend big on someone who then bangs in 10-15, they have more than earned their 3 point deduction they cost you. The whole thing causes more damage than it does any good. Man City have over 100 cases against them, they don't really care |

He has had a few good games over the years. None spring to mind. But, I've seen be ok at times. |
| Forum Reply | January Transfer Thread at 17:27 14 Jan 2025
Even if the manager has directed you to keep possession then anyone in their right mind would be pragmatic enough to realise that if you've taken a bad first touch, then the number one priority is safety. If the coaching is saying to pass short no matter what, then they really do need replacing as the players at their disposal do not suit their style |
| Forum Reply | January Transfer Thread at 16:54 14 Jan 2025
If the game is going quicker than he thought then just hoof it. His nain job is preventing goals against. Just whack it down the pitch if in doubt |
