I think our success can generally be measured by how far grimes plays up the pitch. When he actually pushes up a bit and does his thing further up the pitch we can look very very good. When he’s 20 yards behind our centre backs we are absolutely shite. |

I can understand him being pissed off. He’s been shoehorned into a role that he simply doesn’t really have the attributes for. Same as Abdullai. He’s been in our academy for years we’ve specifically trained him as a central midfielder but now we shove him on the wing/left back. What’s the point? |

Absolutely. We saw the Hillsborough and postmaster inquiries kicked down the road for decades. Now they are doing the same here. But when they want to limit the freedom of the press or find out whether Boris had a party or not these inquiries are rushed through.
The grooming gangs thing is not a local issue. It’s a national scandal. |

The worrying thing about Starmers response today is that he seriously seems to believe that criticism of the response of the authorities towards the systematic rape and sexual violence against children by organised gangs in hundreds of towns spanning nearly four decades is “far right”.
This is surely the sort of thing that everybody across the political spectrum should find completely abhorrent?

I’ll target the vile individuals committing these atrocities against young girls and I will target the vile individual that is Tommy Robinson.
And yes I have concrete proof he is a serial offender. He has numerous convictions dating back 20 years for everything from petty violence, mortgage fraud, drug offenses, harassment and stalking, using a false passport, contempt, libel and god knows what else. Did the mainstream media make all these convictions up? Or are they a matter of public record? |

It’s not literally about old men planting trees. It’s a metaphor, an analogy. It’s about creating or doing something knowing you won’t be the one to reap the benefits from. The ancient Greeks weren’t running around forcing old men to plant trees knowing they’d be dead before they grew. There wasn’t a major policy for sustainable forest management in and around the city state of Athens.
