I think Marti nails it in his post match interview on westlondonsport, to have so many chances, to miss them, then concede from first real chance and at same time lose your captain to injury……and then to come back and win it from there. That shows not only we’re a good team but most importantly, real character. |

Well I didn’t think I’d been that bad. I just thought he got too much abuse too early. But not really my aim to get in rows on message boards. |

Blimey where’d that come from. I wasn’t aiming at at anyone in particular. However, I’m sure any criticism on here was the reason he improved as you say. 😂 |

No coincidence that since he came back from suspension that we have looked much more solid. Look at our results when he wasn’t playing. Don’t understand the criticism of a young player in his first season in English football. Seems a decent lad too |

We’ve also done that with 4 new players being key to that run. Nardi, Varane, Koki and Morrison. Didn’t he also sign Morgan? So 5? If we extend contracts for Dunne and Kolli, I think people have to say he’s doing ok. We’ve got to be balanced. |

Agree. Love his positivity too. If we can, hope we sign him up. |

Another good performance. He deserves much more credit than he’s getting. |

He does some good stuff but then can be very poor. I’d keep him as a reserve full back to Dunne and Paal. |

On more practical level it’s Morrison being fit to partner Cook, allowing Dunne to go to right back. Then Varane being back from suspension has made us much more solid too. Then more generally, likes of Field, Cook and Dunne are playing much better than they were. |

Better than Hayden now in my view. Recruitment we got right here. |

Field has to start. When away from home Varane is also a must. But at home vs Oxford…..tempted to start Morgan. |

Was thinking the same thing. And also look at the 3 games he missed due to suspension after that….3 defeats, 7 conceded against Hull, Derby and Portsmouth. |
| Forum Reply | Morrison, anyone notice? at 20:49 30 Nov 2024
Makes the timing of his injury all the more frustrating. He’s looking good although tired towards the end. |

Field was absolutely superb. We will miss him on Saturday. Whole team did well though. Feeling so much better than just before Stoke game. |

Anderson sliding in to win challenge right at the death sums up how much we’ve changed. |

Yeah I don’t get why some of this group are insulted like that. I see a lack of confidence but no lack of effort. The reaction of the squad to Celar scoring said it all to me. However I would say that at the games, the support has been excellent (for the most part) for the team. |
