We are finally in our preferred Vets league, so just one last bump to hopefully get some more of the 35+ QPR fans I hear most weeks telling actual professional's how to play the game to come and show how its done. Games are Sundays every fortnight in and around West London Please contact at qprsfc2019@gmail.com
Should finally be signed up to our preferred Vets League this week so will then be holding trial friendlies over the summer so anyone QPR who's over 35 and half decent at Sunday football (games every fortnight Sundays) and having a few pints afterwards please get in touch qprsfc2019@gmail.com
Again thanks to everyone who has been on contact so far, could always do with a few more though, so please anyone regular and reliable aged over 35+ who is at least half decent at football and wants to wear the QPR shirt with a bunch of QPR fans Sunday Mornings in West London please get in touch. qprsfc2019@gmail.com
Thanks to every one who has emailed so far, we could always do with more though, so anyone 35+ who is contemplating playing football regularly again, come and do it in the hoops.
We are QPR Supporters Fc and due to a younger generation of flaky unreliable kids signing up for a football team they have no intention of playing for more than twice a season who are on their phones 20 hours a day but can't take two seconds to reply to a whatsapp whether they are playing (Sorry, rant over)we are looking at disbanding the open age team and setting up as Vets for next season. Games will be on Sunday mornings in and around West London, wearing the famous hoops very generously donated to us by the wonderful Andy Evans and his team.
So we are looking to recruit QPR fans aged 35+ to come and join the remaining fat old b*stards who can still play a bit who have been playing against kids half our age playing football the QPR way (managed by a bald bloke, keep the ball on the deck, useless in defence - ring any bells?) and managing to hold our own (2nd in the league this season) - Marc Bircham has even played for us on occasion the last couple of seasons - thats how nice a bunch we are.
We want decent, regular, reliable players who will be able to play more Sundays than not so that we have a core 13-14 and then other players who can play say half the games when regulars can't.
Obviously The most important part of Sunday football is the taking the piss out of each other and having a pint or 5 after the game so the social side is as important to us. Please no angry coked up dickheads though, we're QPR not some East end parody from The football factory.
We will be holding trial friendlies during the summer so if you have been thinking about getting fitter, wanting to feel part of something, playing 5 a side and wanting to get involved in 11 a side again please get in touch and come and have a trial and get involved - We are at qprsfc2019@gmail.com - if you can let us know your age, positions you can play and what level and regularity you play at we would love to hear from you.
We were formally ASB but have renamed as QPR Supporters Fc, we ultimately only want QPR fans playing and locating us and attracting new QPR fan players has been easier under the new name.
We are QPR Supporters Fc, a Sunday League football team run by and for QPR fans of a half decent standard who can play in the famous hoops on Sunday mornings in West London followed by a few pints afterwards. If you have been thinking about playing again ,getting back to your fighting weight , or getting out and about for your mental or physical health post lockdown, come and join in, we are a good bunch who play football the QPR way (managed by a bald bloke, lovely to watch, useless in defence). If you are of half decent standard but most importantly reliable and available most Sundays please contact qprsfc2019@gmail.com
Very interesting and revealing character. Well worth a listen. Discusses how great Ollie was with all of his issues and the rest of Carlisle's time with us
He called the Queen Mother an 'Old tart' said that Pie and mash was 'Overrated slop' and went on to add that 'anyone stupid enough to leave their back doors open when the Krays were around were just asking for trouble'
Freeman did well when he came on and won the foul that led to Sharp's goal. He will be playing more games than he starts as sub that is for sure. Wilder really rates him.
Had a pretty good response / interest from players to this so hope you don't mind me bumping this up one last time before pre season begins in a few weeks.
ASB - a QPR supporters Sunday team looking to hopefully recruit new QPR fans of a semi decent level to come and play Sunday mornings 10.30 am Chiswick and District League with a bunch of QPR fans/ good blokes..
If you are interested we can be reached on twitter @AccStanBowlesFC or by email at asbfc96@gmail.com or simply reply to this thread if you want, letting us know your age, ability and positions that you can play in. Don't be shy come and get involved.
Really good player who's at the age now where he needs to bed in at a club and make a name for himself. Would be a proper old school QPR player / fans favourite if we do get him.
Hopefully you are reading this thinking 'The football season is over the weathers getting better I could do with getting fitter', hopefully that pair of old Copa Mondials that wink at you every time you open that cupboard are bringing back recent memories of playing football. Might be a stretch but hopefully you are thinking of joining a football team, even better a Sunday football team that is a QPR supporters team, well if that is the case and after that long winded opening, come and join a QPR supporters team that plays in the Chiswick & District League Sunday mornings 1030am in West London. We are looking for half decent but more importantly regular reliable players who happen to be QPR fans.
Come and join us for pre season and beyond:

Any fans of a certain vintage who liked the 1980's classic film BIG might like this absolute gem of a video. The song is absolutely brilliant in my opinion. Well worth sitting through on a Friday afternoon. All hail King Monkeh
Hearing on the Loftus Road grapevine that the reason that Fulham have released no details regarding their season tickets for their return to the championship is that they are looking to complete the upscaling / development of the Riverside stand at Craven Cottage....and are behind the scenes in negotiations with our very own selves about using Loftus Road for next season. I hope we don't get fleeced on the deal this time.
