| Forum Reply | NEXT 5 GAMES: how many points? at 11:46 9 Feb 2015
I would be happy for a draw in each of these games. West Brom and Burnley are two "easier" games but are both away. United at home will be difficult, especially given we beat them at OT so they'll be gunning for us this time. I don't think we'll get anything at Tottenham, especially with Harry Kane's current form. Liverpool have slowly been getting better and better so this will be another difficult one. Obviously, I hope we win all of them but I would be happy with at least 5 points. 7 points (2 wins 1 draw) would be wonderful. |

Cork for me as I think he'll bring more of a physical presence in front of the back four. Could make a big difference? That being said, I like the look of all of them so far, though I won't pretend to know a lot about any of them. |
| Forum Reply | Ki and Leon are back, do they both start? at 10:00 6 Feb 2015
Shelvey for the CAM for definite so it's really a competition for places between Ki, Cork and Britton. I'd go with Ki and Cork. Cork will give us a bit more of a physical presence and will allow Ki to push forward. |

Who do you want to start and what do you think the score will be? Here's the line up I'd like to see: Fabianski Naughton Fernandez Williams Taylor Ki Cork Dyer Shelvey Montero Gomis Other than Routledge, do we know the status of any other injuries to players? Is Barrow okay after last week? I'm thinking 2-0 or 2-1! |

I just wanted to say that I feel very happy with Swansea over the past few months and I am very proud to support them. There has been a lot of squabbles for quite some time on this forum with many expressing their unhappiness. Some points have been justified and well debated whilst others have been unfathomable, petty and are often posted maliciously. Some high profile users have left or been banned from the forum and it is quite sad given we all share a mutual interest in football and Swansea City. We may have been knocked out of the cup competitions and haven't been on the best of runs recently (excluding Southampton), but I am happy with our squad and look forward to every single game, no matter the opponent! We have not been outside the top 10 so far this season and I for one, would think that finishing the season in the top half is a great achievement from which we can improve on. Let's not forget we have a manager who is vastly inexperienced compared to some of his counterparts, yet we are still on course to finish well and we should do everything we can to support him and put our faith in the club. Up the Swans! |
| Forum Reply | Which two players do currently believe are the best Centre Midfield pairing? at 09:11 19 Dec 2014
You have a point, but I guess it's all about finding the right balance. I was interested to see overall opinions. It's a nice debate choosing between CMs as there is quite a bit of competition for the place. Think of the poll as choosing the best pairing for the overall season rather than each game. Completely understand what you mean though. |
| Forum Reply | Swansea City receive second major January blow as Ki Sung-Yueng joins Wilfried B at 15:06 18 Dec 2014
...Good news that we have one of our best performing players this season unable to play so Shelvey can get game time? Yeah, that's great logic. Ki didn't have a stormer in the world cup, South Korea were terrible. Just wondering, are you just thick or just a complete moron? I don't think I've ever read one of your posts without laughing. |

Not sure why he should bide his time if he's injury free, or why any player should have to wait to get back in the team if they're considered a better player. But fair enough! Fernandez is an international player for a brilliant team, I think this alone warrants a place in the Swansea first team. Not to mention that with the price tag we want to get our money's worth rather than him sit on the bench! |

Amat had some great performances before he was injured. If he recaptures that form then who's to say he can't get back into the starting team again? |
| Forum Reply | Potential team for Tottenham (14/12) at 13:34 12 Dec 2014
I would pick: Tremmel Rangel Williams Fernandez Taylor Ki Shelvey Dyer Sigurdsson Montero Bony Difficult to pick between the 3 wingers really! I'm picking Fernandez and I think he has more experience than Amat or Bartley and we need to keep our heads focused over this busy period. Plus I think he's been really good so far, though both Jordi and Kyle have certainly given spirited performances. I'm really glad there is competition for positions and I'm thoroughly looking forward to the game! |

So who does everyone want to see on the team for Sunday then? We have a fully fit first team squad and it is only Fabianski who is suspended. I'm having difficulty picking which wingers and CBs I'd like to start! |
| Forum Reply | West Ham prediction at 09:54 4 Dec 2014
I would take a draw as a good result. West Ham have been having a good season so far and will be expecting a win at home. I think we have the quality for a win but this won't be an easy game. We'd have to be on fire to get the 3 points. |
| Forum Reply | An American view of Garry at 14:11 14 Nov 2014
It's great for the club to be known on a global scale but it's a terrible article full of strange and incorrect statements. "Then followed two losses to undefeated Chelsea and the high-flying Southampton Saints. There’s no shame in either of those but a nil-nil draw to Sunderland is indicative of the weaknesses the club has"... So did we lose or draw? 1-0 is not exactly a bad loss. 3-0 or 4-0 on the other hand... "...emphasizes attacking play at the expense of a tight midfield. This leaves them vulnerable in the back."... We have a good goal difference and one of the best defensive records in the league so far. You can tell it was written by an American... Referring to Southampton as Southampton Saints. I guess we're the Swansea Swans then? |
